If she says no, don't feel rejected or hate yourself or anything like that because someone else will want to date you sooner or later. Rejection is part of the cycle of life. Everyone experiences rejection at least once or twice in their life. Don't be embarrassed by the fact you have never dated before because you're not alone in that lots of people are in the same situation. Just don't date someone for the sake of wanting to be a in a relationship.

What I don't get is why would people want to commit suicide or be emo?? Why would anyone want to take their own life away. Most people say, oh they teased me, bla, bla, bla. I say the hell with that!! Its pointless to take your life away. I believe that if you commit suicide then you go to hell anyways.
Also whats up with the emo *BLEEP*!! You got stress go excersize. I just don't see how pain (emo's cut themselves, what the hells with that) can possible relieve stress. I would think that pain only adds stress. I suggest to the emo people go outside and play to relieve stress. Firstly it sickens me when people say emo's cut themselves etc, you're just basing your post on stereotypes. Firstly I don't agree with stereotypes and you are here saying why would emo's want to take their lives away and stuff. In case you didn't know emo is not a style it is actually a genre of music you obviously don't know what emo means if all you can come up with is "people who cut themselves and are depressed". People have been wearing black for years and if I recall what did people who wore black a few years back in the early 90's/80's get called? Gothics didn't they?

I learnt CSS in combination with w3schools tutorials and dreamweaver as well. I suggest viewing CSS scripts of other web pages to see how they work. They are not really that hard to learn.Good luck.Dwayne.

I get my inspiration basically from other games and then say to myself what could a game like this have? That it should have. That's usually how I get my idea's, also dreams, walking down the street, on the toilet and yes even the shower.

Of course microsoft copied mac, I think like a year or even more before vista was released people were saying that the new windows will be a mac clone basically. Vista is definitely trash without a doubt. It's riddled with flaws I mean the product activation was cracked so quickly and it was all Microsoft's fault. I definitely agree with the people who say vista isn't anything exciting to me it just seems like eye candy more than a new operating system.

Editplus is ok but if anyone would a free alternative that in my opinion is far better than editplus then download Notepad++ it's open source and it's way way better.

In my opinion people who say text messaging/chat room slang destroys peoples academic abilities and gives people the impression that slang is acceptable is wrong.I think this generation is smart enough regardless of how much slang and abbreviation is used to differentiate between using slang and proper English. Sure a lot of people use it in their daily lives mainly teenagers when talking to one other but most people not just teenagers who use it know that it's not an acceptable form of English.Firstly they don't teach slang in schools, slang is not educational unless the school is run by snoop dog then I'm sure that the school won't be teaching slang to the kids whoever mentioned it above in their post. As far as I am concerned this is just another excuse for the government to blame failed public education on. Although public education here in Australia isn't all that bad it's horrible in other country's.

I really enjoy games like The Sims where I can control the environment and what the people do. Its kind of freaky though how sometimes my own life correlates with that game a little too much. Just like the Sims or any other simulator game I have a certain amount of freedom to do what I want. But every once in a while I feel like I am being forced into circumstances that I can not stand or seemingly have no control over. It sometimes feels like I am being directed what to do.
Sometimes I wonder just how much of our lives do we really have control over. There is so much in our environment and lives that has an influence on what we do, say and act on. I occasionally wonder if we are a bunch of pawns on someones chess board. LOL

I am not sure if anyone else remembers the movie Tron? Well that was a movie about people who were forced to live a game while someone else was controlling them and did not know it. Freaking amazing concept for the time. I was very facinated by the idea. There have been other movies that have used games as a way to control people's lives. Last Starfighter used a video game to find the last starfighter pilot to save the world lol.

Anything that involves the possibility of someone or something else controling us facinates me. I think that the Sims is very much the closest to that feeling most people get sometimes. Its weird really how we can be controlled by outside influences. LOL

Ever wonder why games conflict and relate to our real lives sometimes? Because games are based on real lives like ours that's how they come up with the idea of these types of games really. I have a nokia 3230 and I don't advise anyone to buy one because the sound quality is the worse quality I have ever heard for a mobile phone that claims you can listen to mp3's on it. The only decent sound is the radio.

There has been quite a few scientific studies that have shown that mobile phones cause damage and are dangerous and there has been scientific tests to show that mobile phones aren't as dangerous as we think they are. I mean theres too much choice when making a decision about this.Seriously simple logic for a second. If mobile phones really caused so many health problems then they'd find an alternative to mobile phones. The thing is you don't usually hear of people dying because they talk on their mobile a lot, if that's the case then most of us will be dead sometime soon because everyone talks on a mobile.

Hmmm has the starter of this topic been watching HAL? Like somone said, computers are only as smart as we will make them, so therefore, computers can never be smarter than us. Besides, they just have those robots in thoses factories because they don't have to pay a person for labor.

True but seeming as we are always trying to make stuff bigger and better and I know in the future we'll be making things smarter and more independant they'll call it innovation but the day we create computers to think for themselves it won't be enough for us and we'll want to make them more humanly even if computers don't destroy the earth they have the potential too.

I guess this subject is only something that can be answered by time. Really gives you something to think of though.

Put it this way if computers do all go haywire one day we won't be prepared for it and we most likely wouldn't have a plan in place for it either because we would all think it couldn't be possible.

Opera definitely beats Internet Explorer no arguments about it. But we can't deny that any browser that isn't made by microsoft is a better browser than internet explorer.Firefox is ok but the issues surrounding the excess usuage of ram are just too frustrating for me.

I have been a long Mozilla Firefox fan for some time now and just a couple of days ago I installed opera 9 and I thought to myself not having the extensions capability like Firefox is ok because heres a few things that make opera in my opinion better than firefox.* Web pages are rendered way faster in Opera compared to Firefox.* In opera 9 you can block content without an extension like Firefox requires.* If a site doesn't support opera you can make it appear to the site you are using another web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox.* Ram and CPU usuage is minimal. Have you seen how much Ram Firefox uses when you have a few tabs open?Definitely agree that opera is the fastest browser and I hope it's popularity grows.

It's hard to say or not if this will happen, we can't exactly say that it can't happen and that they're just computers. We as humans already have the knowledge to destroy earth if we really wanted to now think about it. The humans are creating these AI programs and robots but the AI programs will be created to think like we think most likely. Most likely when AI is smarter 50 years or so from now? It won't be flawless and there will be errors in the code and all robots will most likely run on the same code or perhaps hybrids which would be the same code anyways. This could potentially cause a mass load of AI error computers to start doing stuff perhaps not on purpose but because we made them that way.Computers already control everything with the aid of us helping them.What happens when we let computers automatically complete tasks without us directing them too? Don't say that won't happen because it will happen if it causes our demise then we'll just have to see.

If there was no internet I'd always have my band to fall back on so I guess I would probably just play guitar everyday or something like that seeming as I'm a web developer I would probably have some low level job probably or be a lawyer or something which is kinda scary thank everything for the internet.

I would definitely have to say that Nokia is my favourite phone brand. Not all Nokia phones are great but most are I remember purchasing a Nokia 3230 the sound quality was extremely bad but the stereo was good and the phone looked stylish. You have to admit Nokia make very stylish mobile phones and it's hard to disagree that Nokia is highly popular however Sony ericssons are making a stake in the market they're making some great phones i may change in the future to a sony ericsson but for now Nokia.

I don't think it would be logically possible to take down the internet seeming as there is so much more to the internet than the normal web surfer can comprehend. I'm pretty sure when the internet started getting popular back in the early 90's the government has continually put measures into place probably nothing they would mention to the public until something like that happened.Just because many people experts alike believe the internet couldn't be destroyed I'm sure that wouldn't deter measures being put into place. It's always good to be prepared for something even if it's not going to happen then not be prepared then have it happen.
