  1. I know this may seem like a gaming topic, but to me, it is more importantly a technology topic. Look at the screenshots of Age of Empires III here: http://www.ensemblestudios.com/ It is amazing. Better graphics than any game I have seen, may it be WoW or HL2, this game looks like it's going to own them all. But I'm sure the hardware requirement will also be incredibly high.
  2. Not as bad as mine!Intel 33 MHz CPU16 MB RAM 4 MB video memory400 MB hard drive2x cd-romI win.
  3. I've been using Burst Media for all my ad publishing needs for almost 6 months now. They pay on time, offer high eCPMs, and have extremely high quality ads. Here is their address: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Definitely give them a try and see if you get accepted into their network. They make a good deal of money for me!
  4. Right now it appears the best gaming console system is the PC. Games like Half Life 2 own every single gaming console available. But when the PSP is released, it will become my favorite, since it's portable. I just love portable toys, since I'm rarely able to sit at home on the couch for more than an hour at a time.
  5. Hmm, I just used an iFrame to link my free forums into my website, so that people no longer have to open a new window/leave my site to get to the forums. Very nice! But I think I'll switch back since there is an error with the bottom of my forums with the iframe command. Thanks anyways for the information.
  6. That's weird, when you register for Adsense, the Adsense staff is supposed to check your background information, and determine if the SSN you provided matches your name and other information. Weird that they didn't do that. So just send them the request, and they should fix it. If there is no response, I would just close the account and make a new one.
  7. On a more serious note, a CPU contains millions of nanometer-sized transistors which act as on/off switches. Combined together, they make one super powerful processing unit. So if you have a 3.2 GHz processor, in reality, your computer can handle 3.2 billion instructions per second. Amazing world, huh? P.S. AMD pwns Intel.
  8. You have to make sure your code works with all the different browsers. A lot of commands only work in IE and not in other browsers (and vice versa). It takes a lot of time to single out the bad coomand, but once you find the problem, it becomes quite simple to diagnose. But until then, it's pretty hard. Looking at your code, I can't find any apparent code discrepencies...weird.
  9. Have you seen the screenshots of both Need For Speed Underground 2 and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent for DS? I think the DS still stands somewhat of a chance in the budget market. Especially with NFSU:2. The lighting effects were oustanding in the gameplay movie I saw down at Gamespot. Almost as good as the PSP. Plus I heard the frame rates are better than NFSU:Rivals.
  10. I highly doubt that Internet Explorer 7 is going to be much better than IE6 at all. It's going to be over-hyped, and by then, Firefox 1.2 will be out, ready to compete with IE7. Microsoft has serious issues.
  11. The CELL technology incorporated into the PS3 is really revolutionary. But with the resources of three big companies (IBM, Sony, Toshiba) what can you expect? If these are really screenshots of the PS3s capabilities, I will invest all my money in Sony today. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  12. Anyone know if they will be making Gran Turismo 4 for the PSP? I've heard multiple rumers about it, but they still haven't officially publicly stated the release of GT4 or when it is even going to be released. Definitely a racing game you can't miss out on, especially on the go!
  13. Hey Everyone,Is anyone here in the Google Adsense program? They recently added a new form of text link feature, which basically groups up to 5 links in a single, small, ad box. It works really nice, and has added a big profit boost to my overall Adsense earnings. Has anyone else experienced this new ad forms benefits?
  14. I would definitely go with the 6600GT also, until ATi can release a decent and low priced alternative to the 6600 series. The X600 and X700 series are overpriced, underpowered, and overhyped in my opinion. X900 series is coming out this summer too...meh. Can't wait till the Unreal 3 engine comes.
  15. With only a few days till the American release of the PSP (Playstation Portable for short), people all around the US are eager to get in line/get preorders for this new world in portable gaming. What do you guys think about the PSP? I definitely believe it owns the Nintendo DS in many aspects, but it is a little overpriced. But the amount of features and capabilities the PSP offers just make up for its price. Any comments?
  16. The new version of Firefox (version 1.1) is set to be released in about a month. I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of it; it's pretty good, lots of glitch fixes, etc. Based on the Firefox timeline chart, available on their site, version 2.0 is not that far off either. On a side note, for some odd reason, all the spyware I have on my computer only effects IE. I can't even surf with IE anymore; no sites will load. With Firefox, however, everything works fine!
  17. I also was a member there, but it's just not realistic considering the load up time. Gmail for me. There's also another service called Walla! at http://www.walla.co.il/. They also have free 1 GB email, but they're email servers are just a tad too slow for me.
  18. The UT series of games has definitely proven to be a winner. The upcoming UT2006 will be amazing, it will strike a grassroots for all games to come in the future. Photo-realism like the one coming in the Unreal 3 engine will be serious eye-candy, once games utilize it (and hardware becomes powerful enough for it). Just check out some of the screenshots here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Amazing!
