    It was only practical work at the univercity, but i'm interested why the hell it takes so many resources??? It's not great game to count lots of polygons... :P

    As for me i voted for phpBB, because:

    1. It's absolutly free.

    2. It's easy to download and deploy.

    3. It's easy to modify and deploy plugins

    4. There tonns of themes for phpBB and lots of them free.

     

    BUT If you are going to setup somethink that must be exploit protected buy IPB !!! Invision Power board are much safer than PhpBB! :D

    BUT2 If you will track bug news and updates for phpBB you can install it and have fun with everymonth updates :(

     

    It's only my meaning, nothing personal :D

    AS you probably know you can create a simple OpenGL applications using WinAPI functionality only (you can create it using Microsoft Visual Studio), but if you are making somethink with real windows interface and want to create application with multiple windows/dialogs/buttons with Windows Styles etc... you can use MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) to do it ...
    But i did a 2 hours web search to find example of using OpenGL windows inside MFC created Dialog window.

    I found it and want to share my results now.

    My application is a simple OpenGL based tool, which shows OpenGL viewport on the Window. In the OpenGL viewport showed plane with reflection of sphere which rotates over it. My project uses 2 textures.

    By the way i want to ask the question about OpenGL performance...

    I'm not sure what are you talking about, but i'm playing StarWars: Jedi Academy

    (JK3).

    I started to play it right after i saw Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of sith movie.

    In Jedi Academy you can fight with real light sabre :( and use other weapons like blasters and EMP canons also :D

     

    As for me i like to fight with force using: when you can throw enemy to deep trap :D Or you can heal urself with light force using or suck out force points from your opponent and convert it to your personal healt Points (only for darkForce charachters).

    As for me my site is my headache :D

     

    I'm kinda greedy person and don't wanna pay for anythink in this life (especially virtual life) and i'm hosting my website - homepage of online gamers team (Mechwarrior oriented website with forum and downloads section).

     

    It's not promotional site.

     

    By this reason maybe better to change Poll subject and ask people: "How much they earn from their promotional websites?".

     

    It's only my personal meaning, nothing personal.

    I was at vacation for a week and lost time to post at forum at right time...
    By this reason my account was suspended at saturday....
    But i got back my balance to 5 credits at monday... but nothing changed :(

    Now i got 11 HOSTING CREDITS... but my website http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ still suspended... can anybody help me in this problem????

    I prefer HALO 2 but maybe Quake 4 will really change my opinion B)

    Any way shooters are the best games on any platform :lol:

    If you can't kill somebody in real life kill him or somebody else instead him in virtual life :( And after this kill him again and again and AGAIN and etc....
    :(

    Don't forget about CounterStrike haha B)

    Dunno what i can say about favourite websites because practically all news from good web blogs i recieve via RSS channels to my Miranda Instant Messenger in real life....

     

    But i got some sites which i visit regular:

    2. Warez site nnm.me/ (NoNaMe - the best site about warez in internet in Russian language :lol: )

    But really i'm not visiting web sites for any content reading... i'm communicate on many forums on personal pages at homepages of multiple Teams which playing Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries Online (my favourite game btw :( )

    Now i tried this and wanna share my experience :(

     

    Installing:

    1st you must have Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 Installed or Microsoft Windows 2003 server with last security updates :lol:

    2nd you have to download CD image from MS site with distributive of beta version

    3rd it'll install ASP .NET 2.0 on your PC and enterprise edition of MS Visual Studio .NET oriented on creating Web Sites and portals in C# language using ASP technology :(

     

    As for me it was great when i had create my website logon system using drag and drop components :( And it wasn't all :D

    Are you sure that you can create menu bar which reads database using simple dhtml??? :(
    If i'm right simple DHTML with JavaScript can't use any ODBC drivers or simply connect to the MySQL Database...
    Maybe you can try to use JSP/ASP or PHP technology ? You will be able to connect to the Database from them :(

    As for me, System Administrator.
