  1. All the DSs in the stores are all crapped up, the touch screen is very precise and responsive in a brand new unit. And the games as of now are OKish, except for the first hunt demo and Super Mario 64, but there are plenty of new titles coming with some primse.

  2. I've heard that it'll will be using this new processor, the Cell processor being devopedly jointly by Sony and a few other companies. It'll be interesting to see, as Sony is banking everything on the Cell processor being a success. No one knows if it will be as fast as they say it will be (they messure it in terahertz, me think BS), or whether it will even work. But Sony might sink if it doesn't since itz cost them a lot of money. :)

  3. The DS doesn't have a TCP/IP stack in its wireless, so in order for games to go online, theyd have to implement that. Not saying it won't happen, but when they say 802.11b wireless, they mean the 802.11b frequency, not that out of the box it can communicate w/ an 802.11b router. In case you didn't know, the only way it could go online is if you had a Wi-fi router in range that was connected to the internet(which would probably be broadband).

  4. I will always be a nintendo gamer for one reason and one reason only: innovation. Simply put, nintendo is the most innovative. The best sony can do is put a new screen, expensive portable graphics, mini disc format DVD player, and theyir logo together and make a PSP. Nintendo continues to innovate and games, and now with their hardware. Something unheard of, a device with two screens. Borrowing from PDAs, the bottom screen is touch sensative. Sounds crazy on paper, but have you tried playin the thing? Most people haven't. And since the PSP sounds better on paper with lots of large numbers and other technical specs and it can play certain small disc format DVDs, many think it will simply be better because of those numbers. Let me tell you, however crazy the dual screens sounds on paper, is not the same as it plays. The dual screens can be applied to almost any game. Precise steering in a racer(Ridge Racers DS). Aiming for a FPS (check out the Metriod hunters Demo), menus for a simulation game(The urbz: Sims in the city), and even hatch a whole new type of game(Wario Ware, touched). As for people who think itz kiddy, the new Castlevania will be for the DS, you've already got Sprung and Feel the magic, as well as a few racers, and FFCC coming to DShood as well. For me anyway, the choice is clear. DS!!

  5. Ok, I'm running a custom built server app for something that i'm making. But thatz beside the point. Its in Java, and my code works. I put it on my Red Hat 9 system, and install JRE 1.5. I try to run it, and it works fine. Then, I go to my router, and configure my port forwording, exactly how I used to when I had windows XP on the system. When the computer was running windows XP in the exact same configuration, users on the internet could access it fine. Now that itz under red hat, it will not. It works fine from inside my LAN, just not from the outside. I'm guessing it's a some hidden "security" feature of Linux that thinks its being smart. Anyway, I selected no firewall on the install, so why the heck is it blocking outside connection attempts? I consider myself pretty good with computers (I can use Java, Perl, HTML, PHP, C, VB 6 though I mainly use Java), and so far Linux has been a rollercoaster. If I can't get this to work, i'll be heading back for ground I'm more familiar with, Windows XP.

  6. Imac definitley. The Emac is too... uh.... It like reminds me of like, *Oh that computer* or *The Library computer* or *The Schools Computers* etc. Its not like, instlyeish kinda. Mainly, when its buying a mac, its just about looks, Because, andthing that you buy in macs, will be compatible with things for years. All of macs software is still compatible with G3. Also, the EMACs not thery portable.WEll, they make a handle and all, but its still very heavy, unlike the Imac, which is slim and light. Hence, I like the Imac, J on the MB

  7. I love ebay, its definate top spot when lookin for something good. There are lots of optioans for computer junk, like Photo shop 500 smacks cheaper hahahaha. At some point, the weirdness and stupidity needs to stop. Like have you seen that news report on the lady who sold ad space on her pregant stomach? Well, after that, things gottoutta hand, like, some people are selling it on their foreheads, some on there arm, and some EVERYWHERE! And then there was the *Theres an image of jesus <-6 text size> that i photoshopped in</textsize> on my wart!!!!!!!!!111111oneoneoneone. Ive seen bricks, Celings, walls etc. I think thats gone way outta line. But other than that, i think ebays pretty cool

  8. hahaha 1e7 is going to be crap compared to Firefox. My personal opinoin is itll protect viruses and a popup blocker and that it. Microsoft has not been doing well latley, and i hope it will end up making nothing compatible with windows 200 forcing my parents to buy macs off of ebay.
