"Rebuild", eh? Well, that's hilarious . Las time I checked, it was just regular occupation. Please, don't give mi that propaganda talk. The soldiers are fighting so that [only few - politicians, and bussinesmen] people can live a little better life, in your country. The war was, and still is, completely unnecesarry. And supporting soldiers fighting in it, is supporting the war. So, please, don't tell me anything like this:

I don't agree. Extra privilages would be even more destructive for the idea than anything else - people would be still doing this "because of something", not "in spite of everything". They wouldn't be voluntaring to help other people, just to help themselves.

I'm using an account on tlen.pl. It's working nice for me - and it's integrated with my Tlen IM [it works mostly with polish messengers, but there are plugins for ICQ, AIM, and MSN - so I've got everything I need in one place]. Lately I'm thinking about switching to Gmail.

This is what you should call "invasion". There were no proven facts that Saddam Husajn [a real bastard actually... but not much worse than Bush, Hitler, or any other politician] had connections with Al-Qualida [i don't know the spelling of this one], or even knew about the atack on Word Trade Center. You've got to remember - it wasn't an act of war, it was an act of terrorism. And terrorists, no matter what they say, are not depending on one country - but on their own founds [which can be "donated" by a group of countries... but you can't tell which ones, eh?]. So, you can't depend on propaganda coming out from people, that just wanted the Iraqui oil. But if you think that is strange/stupid... what can you say of the polish goverment? Poland have no profits from this war, but is sending their soldiers, to fight... for what? For Bushes delusional dreams.

Dead bodies are just empty shells, so i can't even care less about them. But, even so, this idea... is disgusting. If you want to remember the dead person - you can do it without the "tokens". More, this diamonds are syntetical - and are not worth the price.Actually... I don't think I have the psychical strenght to write about the immorallity of this kind of act.

Fnord... I can't remember now, but I think, that before it was used in "Principia Discordia" it appeared in "Illuminatus" trilogy.

First of all, I want to say, that I'm not american - and we don't have this type of services in my country. If somebody wants to help in something - he looks for a place. Of course, schools and city authorities organize something like this, but it's completely voluntary. It's not even in your papers, when you complete something like this. Of course - ther are few people getting involved - but all of them want to do it. And I think it's the best sollution, because, like morosophos wrote earlier: "In order for true service to have a vital impact upon the world, it has to be continual and selfless". And i don't think that it can, if it "looks good on college aplications", or even is required from somebody.
