HI,I'm confused (again) I've been through the merchant tools and enterprise sections of paypal, and from what I see, they provide a shopping cart to attach to a site that I build - I cant find where they give you a program or even a template to create the storefront. ?? am I just missing it?

Sorry to have so many questions....... I'm really nervous about the Shopping Cart feature I want to have on my website.How do shopping carts work? what makes them tick? what protects the customer? how do I collect payments?Am I better off to let paypal handle it for now, is is it safe enough to just dive in?I'm thinking ahead, I don't even have a host yet... overly excited I guess

I could use some help from those more experienced..... starting an e-business out of an established jewelry businessI bought the domain for 3 years, set up email, set up a paypal account, set up an ebay seller account, and cleaned the naughty pictures off the digital camera. Now I"m looking for a web host. I think this is it. I have knowlege of basic html using notepad, and know that templates for various designs are plentiful.Am I forgetting anything?

Hi,I've been reading on this site for a while, just bopping around the site. I found that the posts need to be 300+ characters long, but I also got the impression that only one post a day is allowed - or are more allowed but only one counts toward the total? And does one's signature count toward the character count? I'm having a hard time finding all the details in one spot.You could just point me the way and say DUHHHH...... and I'll be just as grateful.Thanks

Wow, well you say it's not that hard, but some of us have alot to learn! I think the posting is a good idea, even if I don't understand it all I'll at least absorb some by osmosis.....From what I've read so far, you guys seem to know your stuff!Wish me luck, I only know old-fashioned html and want a small business site.
