well... i *BLEEP*ed up Windows a couple of times... it was pretty bad

what were the specs of your first PC,,,...my first computer was a Compaq's laptop..Intel 100MHz42 MB ram...i think8 MB video memory750 MB hard diskCD - ROm...

find some tutorials and examples on the internet for a start...that's how i began...then little by little you get the hangof it....find some script...examine it's code...and try to understand it...

everything is OK now....it was the power supply.... but thanx anyway

i have serious problems with my computer....it's very unstable...it frezzes very often...and then i have to kick it to unfrezze.. ...and sometimes that doesn't help.....it rarely frezzes when i'm working in VB,watching a DVD..or something similar....but it frezzes allmost every time i play a game..or when i leave it "stand by"...and when it boots......i've had this problem since i've got this board and the CPU...it driveing me crazy .......do you know what could be the problem...p.s.i have whirly bad power supply (MS 400) ....could that be the problem?

...i'm noth whirly good at 3D modeling...but i know maya...is one of the best programs for it;)p.s.i've got maya version 4.5

..if you ever overclocked your system...post results here....i will go first..i have:Athlon 64 Winchester 3500+on Asus A8V Deluxe with 512 MB ram..an a stock coller...Standard clock ratio...200 x 11 ...2200MhZ...@2750 MhZ 250 x 11 1,625 VAsus A8V @ BIOS 1009,003it can go much higher..but i have to buy better cooling and a better RAM (this one stinks.. )so what about you...

well...i hava..and i prefer ATi...butnVidia is number one...for now

what program do you use the most ...in past couple of months...?...i use windows media player 10....very often....(it's a good mp3 player..so..)and mozilla firefox , because i'm on the net very often too...how about you..?

heh.. i know that 400w is low for this kind of configuration...and it's one of the cheapest power supplys on the market so i should get a better one... i'm thinking of taking this one.. Chieftec 420W double fan.. would it be OK for 3 x hard disks and 2 x cd/dvd drives....?

...i don't use any Antivirus at the moment...but i've used Norton,NOD 32,Antivirus XP,Sophos....i can't remeber all of them.....but i think Sophos is one of the best;)

no...it's not about that... i had the same WinXp (MCE 2005) installed on my old computer and didn't have this kind of problems... know i bought S939 motherboard(and a processor..) and i have all kinds ofproblems with it...and this is one of them... ...other are for example.... ...it can't boot sometimers ( i mean it stops at beegining.....motherboard logo..) ...i have to wait on welcome screen ...and the bigest *BLEEP* of all is that it freezes very often....and i have to punch the computer to unfreeze....it's crazy... i've reinstalled WinXP and formated the disk a couple of times...and same thing every time..... i've updated BIOS and it helped a little but it still freezes... what can i do....?? p.s. i have shity Power supply......can that be a reason of my problems..

heh...i never backup my things(i'm very lazy)....i don't even wanna think what would happen if my hard disks drops dead:D

when my computer boots...it stops on "wlcome" screen....and i have to wait few minutes to work normaly i windows...what could be the problem...driver...installed software...any idea?

well...i'm afraid that there are no such options in BIOS...because i read in looked in the manual and it says that you can put ONLY 1module..or 2 same modules... but may be someone knows how to get it working with all three of them..

i have ASUS A8V Deluxe motherboard...and i have problems with memory..the thing is i can't put 3 DDR modules on it...2 x 256 MB kingmax 4001 x 512 MB kingmax 400so it works only when i put 2 x 256...or 1 x 512...and when i put all three at the same time...computer can boot.....so is there a way to make this 3 DDR modules work at the same time..

you should whirly changeyour graphics card..i mean ..A 64 3400 and R9600pro....doesn't go togehter:D

well i didn't have much of a choice.........i couldn't buy a NF4 motherboard with PCI-E support...because then i would have to buy a 6600GT (minimum...because i have R9800pro 256...so it would be stuid to buy something less powerfull)... and i didn't have enough money.......if i had enough...then i would buy this...Abit A8N Fatal1tyA64 3500+ WinGainward 6600GT......ahhh
