Aliens Or Ancestors Or Some Kind Of God
idle replied to amit nigam's topic in Science and Technology
I dont believe in Aliens, but thats because we have nothing to base this on ... Theres no concrete evidence that says "This is from aliens". And if you're gonna say theres not evidence that says God exists, the bible as credible as you deem IS a piece of evidence that claims the existence of God and thus its still feasible to believe. -
I dont see how matak can selectively quote sentences from the bible and start talking about unsubstantiated claims about holy ghosts eating apples on hills and also talking about DNA @_@ Its just intruiging how some people who fail to understand dont want to =)

Aliens Or Ancestors Or Some Kind Of God
idle replied to amit nigam's topic in Science and Technology
Well weren't the pyramids built upon years of hard work? If they can build the sphinx why not the pyramid? It didn't take them a year to build these monuments, for each egyptian king they had their tombs prepared long before they died. Well interestingly as much as there are so many speculations about having No God or Aliens Existing or other extra-terrestrial beliefs, if they are unsubstantiated I do suppose they are false until proven. -

Aliens Or Ancestors Or Some Kind Of God
idle replied to amit nigam's topic in Science and Technology
Well from what i can see from your post, its more like i think theres something there so there must be something there =) And blackholes will rape anything too close to it. So even if blackholes brought you to another galaxy, you'd probably be cosmic dust by the time u get to see solar system no. 2 -
So do i re-register ? I can currently enter the cpanel so it should be fine rite =)

A Wallpaper I Made quite a while ago =)
idle replied to idle's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Heh yeah i know the colors dont blend, and other than the text being hard to see, most of it was roughly anticipated. Didnt want the wallpaper to stand out too much, if not my icons make it extremely messy =s -
Well well, finally Ill post here after a few chunked posts on certain topics which I just had to address first =) Anyways my name is Ernest and im 19 this year, probably a plain guy just like most of us here. Well for the rest about me, i guess you just have to stick around and find out =)

Aliens Or Ancestors Or Some Kind Of God
idle replied to amit nigam's topic in Science and Technology
Well the big problem here is, most Atheists are doubting the existence of God and not proving his inexistence (note the term his, its intentional). And more over, claiming that there would be life on another planet or in another realm of existence is not fully unsubstantiated by religions, but its clearly not humans if you actually referred to the bible, im not sure what is taught in hindu but islam should also follow the same path of earth being mankinds only home. Aliens derivatorial term refers to stranger, and definitely any extra-terrestrial ACTUALLY FOUND would be classified as an Alien. But so far, all we can find out there is just space and elements. So which is the insubstantiated claim as of fact? Why are we holding on to the view of Aliens so strongly as if its a Religion. The belief that there is no true belief is a contradiction in its very nature, and thus there must be some truth to humanity's existence as well as purpose. But instead of focus'ing on the internal aspects, we decided to focus our time and energy to void our life story and talk about someone elses. I find this a type of escapism, one aspect of this is the actual intent to overthrow the culture of humanity that has been set thus far. One Alien can falter many religions and thus people who do not conform to religions might be forced to hold on to this (as a belief) to further reinforce their personal understanding. The derived mentality I seem to pick up is as I mention, a way to escape from all this religions that affect the world. "Just one Alien and these Religions will fall and I will be right". I am in no position to claim anything about aliens being existing or non-existing, but I daresay no one else would have the facts and substantiation to prove its existence. -
What server are you running on?Athena based, Weiss based (Prometheus) or Aegis ??

Thanks for the comment, greatly appreciated. Well infact i've been trying new filter styles and learning from others as well. I haven't come to find a standard for contemporary signature criterias to fulfill, but im sure given the right amount of criticism I should be able to shed some light with a general concensus. All in all, I feel that my sigs can be improved also but I wont really edit these, I'd probably start anew since once I finish an art i'd leave it as it is =)

Well, the issue here isn't just about how these 2k or 2038 bugs actually affect our msn or yahoo messengers lol. On a different aspect, these seemingly small bugs are troublesome in its nature and its not exactly easy to collaborate on programmers to just solve these problems together (Although the Microsoft Monopoly makes things so much easier). Lets say a stock company crosses the millenium without the adequate fixes to its systems, their programs which rely on real-time updates and a integrity date check with different time zones etc. And thus if crossing the millenium causes a buffer error onto its date integrity checks (which will definitely fail due to a hundred year difference, unless the algorithms have been made to deal with this situation). Not to mention that of all the problems it caused it actually helped with technology due to its 'forced' upgrade of computers in a widespread. Alot of systems were actually upgraded and legacy systems phased out, the y2k bug isnt as mild as you put it, we have come a long way and it helped with awareness and growth in the technological advancements back then.Regarding the 2038 bug, its not an issue in my opinion, the foresight of 2038 was probably seen from the aspect of programming limits (not 2000 due to its nature being not anticipated). And I agree that most systems will be 64-bit by then, not to mention all 32-bits can upgrade and fix this problem easily with a different date algorithms. Vista is coming out next year, and its x64 counterpart has hit the mainstream on beta. Given the trends, i'd give another 10 years max for mainstream Pc's to be 64 bits.

Hiya, I have to admit this problem might have been caused by me because of a premature refresh perhaps. After filling up the Xisto form and then clicking process I was brought to a blank page, I decided to let it load for about a few mins but to no avail on receiving any content. So I pressed the dreaded [X] Button and bam all the text came out with the processing information appearing with a heartstopping Do Not Press Back or Refresh sign @_@.So, okay my bad. Is there anyway to help =) The desired domain is idle.trap17.com if there is someone taking it then ill settle for another, if not ill be in your debt on this matter :)Anyway thanks.

Such a sensitive topic ...In relation to religion being beneficial towards humanity, theres always its equilibrium of pro's and con's. Take Wars for example, previously someone posted that religions lead to wars. In the past, yes, people do fight for their beliefs and it goes to a large scale of a nation level. But in the modern days, wars fought are not caused by religion, in fact, it is just used as a reason for the fight. Its like beating someone up because he has something you need then using your religion as an excuse and proclaiming your self justification. As much as a book 2000 years old can apply to us, im sure given enough understanding, the human nature does not change and if the book addresses our tendencies and our problems which have not change in the milleniums ago and the milleniums to come, why should it not be applicable to us, and why should we not teach our children. Its like culture, do you want your kids to run over coals and pierce themselves? Its not justified to do everything to cater for everyone. You do need to have a stand on your part, learning all religions for peace would never work, just because all religions dont work together, they only exist together. You can walk through more than 1 door at a time (dont give me stupid analogies please, we're talking common sense).Religion has been integral in mankind for as long as ancient civilizations have recorded it, why is this so? Its because man have always felt that there was a higher being somewhere out there. Its very hard to prove that God exists, but it is even harder to prove that he doesn't. If a God did not exist, what was before the big bang? And how did the big bang come about? Where does probability lie in the depths of a reality that wasn't even created, how is there a chance of life springing out of no where when there isnt anywhere to spring life onto. These questions are just the tip of the iceberg, there are many debates onto topics like these, but the main question now is what is a religion to you? How do you perceive this human nature? Has modernism covered that need to seek a higher being?A fine example why people in the past seeked Godly entities more than the present day human is because of technology (Im not blaming it for turning people into atheists). When you are a farmer and you rely on nature to bring about your livelihood, you tend to want to pray that the rain and sun are on your favor (Although they rarely listen to you). Its these needs in various aspects of life that brings people closer to their realization of God or maybe the start of their seeking.Simply putting down the fact that Religion is bad doesnt prove anything because nothing in the world is perfect, Christianity doesnt believe its perfect, it only thinks that the Bible is. Religions do have their ways of discipline, preaching of a clean life and performing good deeds. Call it brain wash if you want, but these are related to atheists as Morals and Ethics? Lets just say you find that Religions are a load of bullcrap, and you drop your moral standards because of that, i'd think you're only living this life because you can. Even people who believe in God can have sub-moral standards, comparing to Atheists, they also have people who have high moral standards. So is it fair to say that doubting a religion would equal to doubting the moralistic teachings they provide? So if the bible says everything can be eaten do you doubt that? Come on there is some truth in EVERY religion, if you arent going to believe in the religion, dont drop your morals and ethics over it.Bhuddism has come a long way, teaching its essence of reincarnation and karma. Although I personally dont believe in it, I dont doubt that we will get our just deserves because of what we have done. If life was just to end after I die, then theres no point living. If there wasn't any motive or purpose to live, why are we here? We aren't random per say. Its how you look at it seriously.Does it harm anyone to even believe in something that helps you through life? Theres no point in being angry with people who believe or dont belive, we just accept it and see what we can do to affect each other positively. Who said this world has to take sides (Although everyone is taking their sides).Truthfully, Religions do have their absurdity in their own ways, 72 virgins? Come on if you can only see their eyes, 144 wouldnt be enough. Reincarnation? Turn into a dog? Like i'd remember anyway. Jesus died on the cross? How can you prove it? But if a religion can be proved, it wouldnt be a religion. Think about it that way, if you have only 1 path to walk, how can it be by choice. Its truly when you have every direction to walk in and you choose the right one, you can then say "Hey I made the right choice". And that is what Religion preaches about, making the right choice because YOU can choose, its not Forced onto you like a chore or a job. If the whole world was bhuddist, would you be one? If you won't would you be segregated? Can you survive? Thank goodness we have freedom of choice. So what would you choose ?

For the second image (which seems the best), you can try adjusting the curves to make the whole setting alittle clearer. But as rvalkass said, the blue behind the car in the first pict is nice, incorporate it in and theres a decent contrast and the car can stand out on top of the nicer background. A few layers of different filters and brushing them out should be able to generate some fabricated texture to your car.
