I do not really like the active X control that I have to install to even see the website. When I click install Windows gives a security warning. I would put a page that comes up without an active x installation first and then explain what you want to show on the next page. Make sure that people know what is they are downloading.Also, there are some good tutprials for dreamweaver on adobe.com.

Yu have very good information about webdesign. I think it is a very organized site and very inforomative up front. The software covers large areas of interest. You should post your website under the coding section of this forum.

There is a lot fo text for the snall webpage. The headings aree ograinized well but I wouls sugegst some sort of tooltip that would allow people to scroll over the heading link and see what topics are present under the heading. With all of the topics under the headinging It is easy to get lost.

At this point are you asking about content to update your forum or are you asking about aoftware to make it easier to update your fourm? What software do you use now? I would use a good Content Mangement system.

I like the site and its content but I think it needs more pictures. I know it is a forum and it is meant to have text but I got lost in all of the text. Also, the members list at the bottom of the page takes up a lot of room. I would put that on an external link rather than on the page itself.

This site is very funny. The tertis redicion is the funniest. A guy walks around in an L shaped box that looks like it is from tetris. The funny thing about it is that they actuall go to a shopping center and the tetris piece tries to fit into little spaces. He mostly bumps into things, but it is really funny to see the people's reactions. Most fo the people just walk around it but some people don't think anything about it. Another funny part is when the tetris figure stands in front of a big deisal pickup truck. The guy reves his engine and finally the tetris piece moves.

I think this is one of the best download sites ever. It is better than downloads.com. The feature that I like the most is how everything is organized by it function. Desktop applications, image editting software and compressions software are very easy to find.

I htink the forum is very well designed and very organized. Very good subkjects and it is very easy to find new posts and replies to your posts.

Go daddy.com offers really good services. Right now if you bye a non-domain service like hosting for 3.99 permonth they will obly charge $1.99 per month for domain names. They are awesome. I have them for one of my websites.

I thnk I know why the Playstation 3 is coming out in the US compared to Europe. What sony is planning is to install a special chip that will allow a nationwide hook up. This hookup combines all of the computing capacity for thousands of machines. This is important becuase they are using it to map proteins like alzheimers and mad cow disease. Hopefully this will help a lot of people in the future. This pertains to game consoles and if does not fit in this section please tell me.

I have Dreamwesver MX And I am thinking about buying Adobe creative suite 2. I was thinking that the CS2 platform was good for adding windows media player and real player videos.thanks

I like winzip. It is easy to use and it compresses files well. I have not used it for mp3 but I would say that it would cut the file size in half.

What is a wapsite? Is a derivation of an RSS feed?

It is a pain trying to have to write new code everytime you want to change something on my website. I know there is an easier way to update content. I read about COntent Management systems which apparently use XML. When I would enter the administartion area there woudl be dynamic fileds in which I could edit the data and when I click submit it would change. The thing is that I know how to add these forms to a page but I dont know how to create an adminstration area. I use php and one of my friends said to use XML. I have a book but it is taking a long time to read. Are there any quick sites I can go to? I know that there are content management systems for sale, but I would really not have to spend any money. Also, eventually with this CMS I would like to create an RSS feed but that is a logn way down the road. Can anybody help me with the CMS?thanks.

I use a lot of php and am trying to make an RSS feed using it. I have not been very succesful. Do I need to use XML or a content manager? I am just starting, but I think I know my stuff. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would greatly like to keeep people up tp date about my website.

I only looked at pimpmyarea.com but it looked great. Great layout, great graphics. The only thing I didn't like was the popup add that came up as traffic tracker. Other than that you have a lot of good content.

Yea do you have any more information for this? I use bitcomet and I seriously do not want that kind of fine. Was there a new law passed or something?

Great forum. A lot of good information especially about student loans and financial aid. Great organization. I would not change a thing.

Ok here is the thing. They are good and it makes the site look organized, but I think the text is a little too small. It would be nice to have soem flash buttons. Also, it would be good to ahve the javascript that would allow you to not have to click to activate the flash buttons. I will give you the javscript if you want to and an example to use it if you need it. It makes the site look really good. The one thing that you need to do is to decide what actiosn you want. or how you want them to fit into your page. you can change the colors to the bbuttond too. Here is a link for free buttons.
