  1. I sort of made a mod where I took out the guts of a PC and then screwed them onto several sheets of plexiglass, and then I hang it up on the wall. I have a total of three sheets of plexiglass, one large one and two small sheets suspended over the larger one to support the drives. It's completely open air, and doesn't really have any case to speak of.I'll post pictures when I get around to it...Oh, and nice mod! You didn't just do it from a kit, right? :P

  2. I use randomly generated usually alpha-numeric passwords which I store on my Palm Pilot using KeyRing (which encrypts them with a master password). My brother, who is much more into cryptography than I, has it create a new email password every time he logs in using a special process applied to the previous password. Then, he has his Palm Pilot do the same (so as to keep in sinc). That way, he can even log onto his email from public keyosks where they run keystroke loggers. (and believe me, they do.)

  3. Sony's been in the market a lot longer than Microsoft, so Microsoft is still sort of groping in the dark. However, they have done an excellent job despite that. The xbox itself is more powerful than the PS2, and in my opinion better designed. I've always prefered the xbox controller to the PS2 controller: the PS2 controller is just too small. Unfortunately, as Microsoft is still new to the market and Rare seems to be in a rut (I love them nonetheless), the only good xbox-only game out there really is Halo.I see a bright future for the xbox, but I still like the Playstation equally.

  4. Im asking for a program that will measure audio file and output variables to a TEXT file in form of numbers from 0 to 100, like when it's silent on audio file nubers would be 0, if it's at maximum power then it's above 100... something like lever meter outputed to text file for every specified milisecond of song...  ;)

now where can i get that?  ;)

Well, I think I understand now; however, I'm still not clear on what you'd use it for. I'd recomend learning the WAV format and writing something by hand--it probably wouldn't be that hard. Just write something that translates each sample intensity into whatever system of notation you want. As it is, WAV files are expressed in a manner similar to what you described.

  5. i listen rap/hip hop all the time.. its my favourite. i like everything about it, the lyrics, the beat, it could have a lot of meaning sometimes or it could just be a plain crazy song about nothing ;)  either way, rap/hip hop is my favourite.. i dont really listen to any other kinds of music..

You should try DnB. Maybe start off some Jump-Up like Aphrodite or Dillinja.

Aphrodite does hiphop flavored DnB. Good stuff--probably a little faster than what you're used to. DnB usually clocks at 160-180 BPM, but unlike Hardcore or similar genres, it keeps the beat.

  6. the design of the site is very plain and boring, and the colours u chose make it even more plain!  ;)

i think you need to change the font, change the design, and make a better logo/banner  :P

I think he's going for the plain and boring look. Hence the name "krap.tk".

It's supposed to look harsh and bland. Unfortunately, I think he succeeded. ;)

  7. Wow! That is very good. I wish I could draw like that...Hey, and if you did draw that, I'm looking for some artists for a project I'm working on. It should be pretty easy stuff. You won't get any pay, but you'll get you're name out there.(I'm working on a PHP based online game that will require some graphics)Drop me a line at: admin at tophatman dot cjb dot net.(I removed @'s and .'s to foil spam bots)

  8. Look into php & MySQL for being able to store data and retrive information on it.

Photoshop 7.0  for graphics, http://www.good-tutorials.com/ has plenty of help.

for php and mysql tutorials, searching google will probly bring up lots of relevant help ;)

PHP/MySQL is the way to go. Unlike asp.net, PHP is completely open source. As far as designing the HTML goes, I just do everything by hand. At first it may seem daunting, but actually writing the code from hand gives you much more control and usually better quality code.

Php-nuke or PostNuke seem to be something like what you're describing. Try grabbing them off sourcegforge, or just browsing sourceforge's php section for something better.

Oh: and instead of Photoshop, you can always use the GIMP2, if you so desire.

  9. HeyI've never been very involved in the whole flash world (as you may be able to tell), but I was wondering, are there any open source (e.g. free) flash edittors, or is the flash format too restrictive?Any URLS to point me in the right direction would be great.
