Hello to all,Opening this new thread regarding the working and non-working programs/softwares with Windows VISTA Beta 2. free as in free beer... moreover they r shipping different flavours and not just ubuntu...they r also shipping dvd of distros like suse, mandriva, gentoo, debian etc etc...almost all the distros r covered by them(although i have myself oordered and i am waiting for them )

Hi Guys! I always wondered why "VIEW" menu is not displayed on desktop, its displayed in each folder but not on desktop. I wanted to enable it on desktop so that I can set the desktop icons view, like Thumbnails, Small Icons, List, etc. Thats why yesterday I was playing with Shell32.dll file in Resource Hacker and found a way to enable it on desktop too after 2 hours r&d. So here we go: 1.) Open Shell32.dll file in Resource Hacker. 2.) Goto: Menu -> 215 -> 1033. 3.) In right-side pane, replace the line saying: POPUP "&View", 28674, MFT_STRING, MFS_ENABLED, 0to POPUP "&View", 0, MFT_STRING, MFS_ENABLED, 0 i.e., U hv to only change the ID 28674 to 0. It can also be done by deleteing the text after "&View" and after compilation RH will automatically add the remaining part. 4.) Now click on Compile Script button and save the file. Now after restarting the PC, u'll see the VIEW menu on desktop and it'll work too w/o ne problem.. i hope u like the tutorial and contact me for any clarification

ya can u tell on which basic system is cent0s based... debian mandriva or suse?? if its debian, then just insert ur cd, and search for all the fiels named with the extension *.deb... once u get the file u want then go to terminal and type the following dpkg -i /------------------= the location of ther directory... and it will automatically install it...

And if you can donate, then do so. I think u can order only one distro at once.. althugh i have not tried it yet.... (didnt want to waste their resources)..

for me it is basic instinct 2.... worst ever.. no storyline and sharon stone at an old age was trying to become extra s**y which she obviously isnt.....a repettion of basic instinct1...

what site r u trying to access.. if it is some antivirus company's site, then some virus on ur comp amy have disabled it.. some viruses block access to certain websites so that they cant be removed easily otherwise try to use some different browser.. like firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) or opera (its the fastest browser on earth at http://www.opera.com/ plaese report after trying to view from some other browser

don't know about other people.. but my friend also had the same problem... what he did was bang his mobile hard on his hands (just like u bang ur TV remote ) the problem was resolved for 1 days.. but after that the keypad locked itself again... then he sent it to motorazr people and they did something and charged him USD 15 .. and the phone just worked fine... my suggestion to u is to make some complaints and wait for them to agree to their fault.. and replace it without fee... (i live in india just for ur information)
