  1. Nice! I like it, good work! That hamburger trick is cool, how does he do it? I don't even see how he could hide it, the board is rigged, right? lol
  2. Oh no, this will cause real problems, after reading it and trying it out, this does cause all network-oriented programs to cease to work, but by then nobody will use any of the technology that is related in this bug... Y2K was because PCs didn't store the century, I.e. it would think 1901 and 2001 are the same year, which is sketchy. Well... it's hard for me to explain bacause I'm not very good with computers to begin, so I'll just quote. Y2K was LARGELY hyped by the media, and alot of systems did have to be upgraded/changed to avoid failure.
  3. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on 1.) the requirements to get an account with AdSense. 2.) How does it pay, i.e. Pay pal, check, etc. 3.) How well does it pay, is it PPC, PPV, other? How's it work, and how much does it per per click, view, etc? 4.) Anything else I should know. Thanks in advance!
  4. Can anybody give me tips on how to make sites friendly for web-crawlers like Google or Yahoo and how to get them to visit my site?I know some of them have free submition pages to get the crawler on your site, but I'm having trouble finding these pages...I know a little about meta tags, but some more info would help as well...And do web crawlers read Iframes correctly or should I stay away from them? Thanks for your time and reading this, sorry for all the questions
  5. I was watching the news the other day and they where talking about a similliar crisis to the year 2000 Y2K bug, but this time it's the Y2.038 bug! New and improved. I didn't catch all of it, but it has something to do with 32-bit systems...No network-oriented programs will work... Test, it out, change your date to January 2038 and try to run something...like something running of a network...lol Yeah... didn't catch it all, but I googled it and am about to read this site: http://www.2038bug.com/
  6. GTA: SA is fun <_<Some of it I think plays in a bit to much RPG-ish, I like 'em shoot 'em up! :ph34r:Really though, it's map and the size of the city is a massive accomplishment, and its a fun game, took me a while to beat though, once I got to the Las Vegas-like city it kinda got boring for me, most of the fun was in the first part of Los Santos.Made me feel so sad having to leave there and go to the country-side for so long, lol.
  7. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to go for building a site that I can run a small-sized community with maximum costumization as well as hook a portal up to it so I can post content on the site, guides, block messages of text, etc... I was think of going with IPB or PhpBB and Mambo/Joomla or whatever they're calling themselves these days. It's more of a matter of which combo has the best/any modification(s) to fuse them, otherwise I might try out PhPNuke, but I don't particularly like it, wished it had a bit more costumization and 'more shiny' features =P
  8. A german company called Seimens has been developing this for quite a while longer. Read this when I was viewing as a guest. Paper Thin TV Screens 49$ a square meter of it.
  9. The new firefox is ok, not much new I really find of any use, really...But it's a beta, we can still end up with more in the final release.
  10. Zeroth Dimension -Aa point is zero dimensional because it has has no width, length, or height and is infinitely small (aka height, length, width are all the smallest measurement in existance). Every point is exactly the same and has the same measurements, because it has no dimension. It's basically a 0-Hypercube.First Dimension- Take the Zeroth Dimension and pull it outwards from its center, in any direction towards another point creating a line segment. Line segments are one dimensional because they only differ by one measurment, which is length they all have the same width and height which is infinitely small (see above aka)If you infinitely expand the line segment it covers 1 dimensional space. It's a 1-hypercubeSecond Dimension - Take the line segment and extend it in any direction perpendicular to the first direction (making a square)Squares are two dimensional because they differ with each other by two measurements, width and length. They all have the same height, which is infinitely small (yeah, again ). All of the edges and angles are equal to each other. If you infinitely expand the line square it covers 2 dimensional space. It's a 2-hypercubeThird Dimension (our world) - Extend the non-infinite square in a third direction, perpendicular to both of the first two directions (cube). Cubes are three dimensional because they differ with each other in size by all of the three measurements that we know of width, length, and height. All of the edges and angles are equivilant to each other. If you expanded the cube infinitely in all directions, it would cover three-dimensional space3-hypercubeThe fourth dimension has 2/3 major theories about it:1. It is a smaller cube within one cube.2. it is a cube cubed by itself3. (semi-theory, not exactly the same type of description I put for 0, 1, 2, and 3) it is time, or what we see as time. Then there is a fifth dimension which many refer to as the tesseract, which is sorta like a portal into time that lets you move backwards or forwards in time...Think of it in terms of the zeroth dimension...Each point in time is a point in a cube... I.e we might express this as (1, 1, 1) being (x, y, z) now if we could go back to one point we could change the way the points look or what they equal to essentially rewrite history...Now here's the thing where it gets fuzy and where we'd need a new 5th dimension, each person has their own cube, but all the cubes come together to make one large cube... Our 'dimension' (in terms more of scifi, like think of an alternate dimension or world) now all of the dimensions form one cube that allows for portals between all the dimensions by moving our own cube to another dimension's cube, but then we'd be putting our history into another history and that wouldn't mesh, so we'd have to make a new cube in that dimension, sorta like an alternate life for ourself depending on what dimension we choose to be in.However each point in a cube constantly exsists at every shortest length of time, so essentially we move our concious mind to another point. But there is already a concious mind at that point, so in order to time travel we'd need to move their conciousness to ours...Now if you think about it this can explain the feeling many humans record of simply not knowing how they got somewhere or feeling something for the second time, aka deja vu...And when you think of it more you get into the realm of swaping mind and body with somebody by trading squares...it's all rather cool, just keep delving more and more into it and imagine what would be possible if this kind of technology or ability could be harnessed...
  11. There's a theory in quantum physics that a black hole can be destroyed by doses of negative energy.Negative energy is essentially a space with less than nothing... Hard to explain and while most of what I learned in physics and quantum physics largely escapes me, density can be a negative number, therefore creating negative energy.Negative energy is suppose to be highly versatile, allowing for traversable wormholes, warp drives, time machines, perpetual-motion machines, or destroy black holes. The laws in quantum physics that allow for negative energy also limit it.So I guess why I'm mentioning this is that so many things related in the study of these cosmic forces are...such paradoxes unto themselves...We know they exist and yet we also know some of them couldn't because the laws that make them work make them not work? Yet we do know they exsist, isn't it perplexing? Or are our definitions of how things work screwed and wrong? Are there really any limits as to what can happen? When you think about this it really proves and disproves everything we know about science...
