Ok I currently am using another free host. And I need to make a move quick. I was thinking of going with company x which offers 250GB of bandwidth, and 5GB of storage for the low 2.99/month. But I ran across Xisto - Web Hosting. I like the fact that I can have unmetered email, mysql databases and such not offered with company x. My first ? is what is the size limit of the mysql databases? or is there a limit? Also on the bandwidth how much is it extra if I go over? Another thing, many sites now days are beginning to post ringtones, basically 10-32 sec clips of popular songs in either mp3 or m4a format. Of course there uploaded as .zips. Would these be possible to host with Xisto - Web Hosting? Thanks for any help in advanced.~Mike

Thanks I will try and make my way to the local libary and see if they have any good books that help in learning. I have played around with embedded visual basic and c++, also gave a whirl at visual studios the express version. I went through a couple tutorials i could find by googling, but there just arent many tutorials that I can find that are nOOB friendly. Most expect you to know a decent amount about c/c++.

I have used many sites, my site in my sig., has some ringtones that are mp3s which only work on select phones. Also you can try ringerpost.com, pdaphonehome.com also has a ringer section, an 3gforfree.com for many other ringtones that work on almost any type of phone on the market.

ok so I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a good, .net dummy friendly guide? my main reason for want to learn it so that I can make .cab files that do registry edits for ppc. I know this should be easy to do, Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh by the way please don't flame me as I posted this in the c/c++ forum also, because I know u can program in either c/c++ or .net for ppc programs.Thx in advanced,Mike

If ya thinking of starting you first bb, well anyone should use phpBB. There are tons of mods,and themes. Plus if ya don't have much knowledge of php or mysql, their community has millions of users, that will help. Plus if ya not comfortable appling mods, there are many 'remakes' of phpbb with mods preinstalled. if ya interested in a few places to start with premodded boards let me know. Oh and the most important reason to go with phpbb, its secure and best of all FREE!

no since in buying a sykpe phone, when u can get a windows mobile 5.0 device and install skype. works great with EV-DO and EDGE services, plus most WM5 phones have wi-fi built in, in case ur not in one of those coverage areas.

I have this sweet little (actually medium sized) phone called the PPC-6700 from sprint. Which runs Windows Mobile 5.0. These are HOT phones, I cant go a min without. hehe Check it out!

I have lots of tones, as my phone has a 1GB miniSD card hehe. What ya know about that by t.i., i write sins not tragidies, im n love wit a stripper, hooka hooka by the swisha house click, plus lots more.

Simple, the best phone would have to be my lovely PPC-6700 made by HTC. Its a windows mobile 5.0 phone, basically a minin laptop hehe. I LOVE MINE! U can have direct push, watch movies, music, stream things, take pix/flix, visit ur favorite forums, plus lots more!
