  1. Oblivion is the best real-time roleplaying game, period. It is a vast improvement over the earlier, amazing, roleplaying game Morrowind. Definately save up for it and go buy it before you buy anything else!
  2. I'm not sure about this, but don't most recent cell phones already have LCD screens?
  3. Your idea is interesting but there are much limitations in it as there are in any of those other energy sources you had described.Firstly, to convert solar energy into a concentrate beam would require a tremendous amount of energy, as someone earlier had stated. The ratio between the energy output and energy input might actually be overbalanced towards the input energy side, and thus would mean worthless energy output that would require too much resources and energy to create any worthwhile amount of energy.Secondly, to actually produce any worthwhile amount would require a giant apparatus system. This would require a great amount of resources that would also require a location relatively safe enough for concentrated energy waves that are carrying as much energy as gamma rays, if your thoughts on lasers zapping people are true. The solar cells you'd have to create would have to be strong enough to take this energy in; where will this indestructable material come from?Just some thoughts.-Alex
  4. Portable gaming consoles are not a very large portion of the gaming market. Microsoft really doesn't need to enter this market since they are doing so well with marketing their new Xbox 360, and the sales of this system will probably continue at their great amount well into the next year. Why release a portable gaming system when it might simply bomb like the PSP? I think that it would be A.) too much a risk for Microsoft to get into the competition now to stain their newly-publicized gaming brand, and B.) too costly. They're already losing enough on each Xbox 360 as it is.-Alex
  5. I suppose that the only bad thing about the PSP is the fact that it has a very little variety of games and a very large variety of movies. I think there are about 10 times more UMD movies than there are PSP games. Why would people bother buying UMD discs when they could just rip their own DVDs home and transfer them to the PSP? Sort of a waste of money, in my humble opinion. On the other hand, the games that are out for the PSP are interesting (i.e. GTA: Liberty City Stories, and SOCOM), but why base a console on just two games? All PSP owners I know only play their PSP for those two games. The DS was a good system, despite being slightly bulky and having a sure-way of destroying your system: the stylus. The DS Lite, however, I must add is a VERY nice upgrade. I'm considering buying it, despite owning a PSP. Nice bright screen, and a great design that matches the iPod and 360.-Alex
