  1. What game(s)/type of games does your clan play? Including a little more information when posting will probobly help build a little more interest than just saying that you run a gaming clan.

    Java editor

In a simple summary, JavaScript is a scripting language developed by the people at Netscape, and Java is OOP from Sun Microsystems, Inc. (similar to C++, for example). If you are interested in Java development, try taking a look at Sun Microsystems' website.
  3. vule, consider this your only warning. If you ever post like that again, you will be banned without question.
  4. Could you please include a little more information with your post? The above is too short, and will usually be deleted as spam.
  5. It's an 88x31 button. If you want to create a banner, you should aim roughly for 468x60 pixels.Good work anyway, icleric.
  6. When you modify your DNS settings, in generally takes around 24-48 hours for it to be fully propagated accross the Internet.Give it a day or two after you have changed your DNS settings, and then add your domain as an 'Add-on' or 'Parked' domain. In case you don't know, an 'add-on' domain will allocate a new directory for use with that domain only; a 'parked' domain will use the root of your account.
  7. eforumhongkong, please do not post more than once in your own thread, unless it is in response to something someone else has said. And what do you mean by 'What Programming Languages Did your writed'? Do you mean 'What programming languages do you know' or 'write in' or 'code in'?
  8. Aw, poor templest. He's a good guy, give him a break. Anyway, I think stevey and Shackman should probobly be added, because they are moderators here as well (even though I don't think stevey really moderates much). Thanks. I'll be sure to abuse my permissions as much as possible. lol thanks (liar!).
  9. You could just throw a script together. Or you could open each file and use 'Find -> Replace' in your text editor (assuming your text editor supports such features).
  10. Just one little pointer - try not to put spaces in your file names. Eg. 'DS%20Portal%20-%20Downloads%20-%20Screenshots.htm' (%20 = space). It makes it look kind of scruffy, and hard/annoying to navigate.I would also try and give all my files lowercase names (ie. 'Index.htm' -> 'index.htm').

    DOOM 3!

hatebreed, please do not post on warez, pirated software, or anything else illegal/unwanted. It can only bring trouble to Trap 17, which I'm sure none of us want.
  12. What do you mean probobly? The first ever computer virus, courtesy of Robert Morris Jr., was created for UNIX systems (Linux is a flavor of UNIX, for those who don't know).I think the main reason that most viruses are designed to fit around Windows is because most people use Windows, hence making the viruses more likely to have the freedom to spread. On top of that, Windows loves nothing more than giving its uses zero security and millions of bugs, so a lot of viruses take advantage of that (take MS.Blaster, for example - if I remember correctly, it exploited a vulnerability in the Windows' RPC).If more PC users suddenly converted to Nix, then I think you'd find more virii would pop up for those operating systems.
  13. Pleas try and make your posts a little longer more informative in the future.'need php portal system' doesn't really say much to those who might be able to help you, and is effectively a waste of space.
  14. Hmm, I'd rather you didn't pit us against each other like this. It's not like we are competing against each other or anything. We both try and do what we are supposed to around the forums - not to try and win any popularity contests, but to try and make it a bit better for everyone by cleaning up junk etc.Anyway, I don't want to close this thread myself, but templest or another administrator might. If you want to vote, vote honestly; I'm not going to get offended if templest is more popular than I.
  15. The reason I have been 'a little negative on your post' is because it is so short. 'One-line' posts are generally considered spam, and as such, are deleted. Posts that are so short don't really contribute much to the community. It is my job to delete them. Get over it, buddy.
  16. Windows XP Home is intended for home users, and XP Professional is intended more for corporate use. As their names would tend to suggest.
  17. Most moderators do not 'abuse their power'. I hope that I don't, anyway. The only time a moderator will generally delete a post or lock/remove a thread is if it is either if it is spam, if it refers to anything illegal, or if it otherwise breaches what is generally acceptable. I'm sure most people are capable of working out what is tolerable and what is not.
  18. The Simpsons have been running for about 14-15 years now, and they still manage to make funny and very clever episodes. How can the likes of South Park, as funny/crude as it can be, even compete with The Simpsons?
  19. This is a remarkebly short post. MSTR, you seem to be making quite a lot of 'one-liners'. Please at least try to make your posts a little longer in the future.
  20. No, it's only for the PlayStation 2. PlayStation 1 does not have any kind of remote connectivity features that I am aware of.
  21. Your post was deleted because it only contained a single word - 'MTV'.Please do not submit such short posts in the future.
  22. With GUI's such as Gnome and KDE being implemented, you don't have to type 'program -ow -x 300 -a 'zxcv -tghj -p9' to start anything, you just need to click on it as you would with Windows. Many of the Linux flavors are becoming more like Windows in the way that the user interacts with them, and are becoming much easier to use.
  23. The map editor has nothing to do with the game's engine. The engine is basically the core of the game. You don't 'see' or 'use' it, as such.
  24. Uh, no... Xbox has better graphics than the PlayStation 2, as it's newer.
