  1. Hey, first, puffy, you are on the right track. Just keep going for it and gradually it'll get better. For me, I was ultra shy guy #1 in highschool and would never EVER initiate a conversation with a girl. Thankfully I am naturally goodlooking and a few times they'd approach the shy goodlooking guy to talk, but I would always bomb it cuz I was so shy. College changed a few things. I knew nobody knew me so I worked off of it and the rest was history. By the second year I had the most popular girls in the college after me and random girl admirers that I'd never met. All I did was realized that I have nothing to be shy about. My opinions and personality is just as valid as anyone else's (well now I think they are better but u get the point)...Second, good post. I like this one. Very funny. To the guys and girls who get so uptight about it, lighten up. It's meant to be humorous.
  2. Haha. This is a funny post, but it reads to me like it was written by a 13 year old girl. This isn't true for all guys and the statements seem very childish. Still, funny nonetheless, props to the poster.
  3. I agree with the friend, religion should not be inherited. How many of you with inherited religions genuinely decided to look into each religion and question your own? It doesn't happen, except to few people who become enlightened alone or through life circumstance, because we grow up and live in the box that is labeled for us. My parents were strict believers in their religion, Islam, but they were against me believing in it until I knew about other religions first so that I could choose what was right. I was even put in a Catholic school for all of elementary and the rest of my education in private Christian schools. I was made to take classes in Judaism. I chose Islam myself, I am such a stronger believer in it because it wasnt inherited and taken for granted.
  4. The better question isn't why people are obsessed with religion, but why certain people twist religion to their own agendas? The fact of the matter is that while you may not see it yourself, religion is a very real thing to its devoted practitioners. Don't be so openminded as to let your brain fall out. You are moving to the opposite extreme. Saying people who believe in religion are narrow-minded and you are the opposite. Move to the middle, understand that some accept religion and some don't. No need to go against either just let each have their own beliefs. Another thing is that religion is belief in a higher order, there are thousands of 'religions' that claim to be the way to 'Heaven', to be truly rational would require you to look into each one to undeniably claim that each one is wrong before you can say that religion is bad. Because that is claiming that all religions are bad/wrong without having looked at all religions to see if that is true.
  5. More importantly than typing in common passwords, is the concept of default passwords. For example, how many wireless products come with default passwords where the owner is too stupid to think to change it. Now people are being arrested for connecting to wireless networks, but I think the fault should be placed on the people who aren't securing those networks in the first place, the product makers.
  6. Oh sweet. I'm new to Photoshop, I think this is an awesome effect and it wasn't many steps at all. The color balance is what I like the most because I'm guessing you can distort the colors for any pictures with that. Thanks a lot. Good tutorial
  7. That has to be the most amazing effect I've seen described so simply. Wow, I am going to use this on everything! Even pictures where you can see the sun Good job
  8. I'm glad you wrote this post. Every kid feels this way at one time or another. I always got insane amounts of pressure from my parents and nothing was ever good enough. And it was bad enough to feel my own guilt, then I had to face up to the disappointment I was being to them.
  9. I've never heard of the modifing wikipedia information. That's crazy. I think Google made the best possible move by not bowing to government pressure because now they will be the ones on top when privacy-interested users start migrating away from Yahoo and MSN
  10. I use Google half the time and Yahoo half the time. I'm originally from Palesitne so I sometimes look for news from the homeland. I also used it today to find webhosting offers such as this Xisto.com, the best yet... at least the best after I get my 10 credits . Haha, try typing "miserable failure" and click I'm Feeling Lucky... A funny trick my friend showed me.
