I have Microsoft office 2003 frontpage. I tried uploading to a site through ftp and then it said some pages wouldnt work. I literaly stared at the screen for like 20 min. Does anyone know any good sites that have at least 75 megs of space and frontpage ext.? Please help i realy eant to get my site up on a reliable server with frontpage extentions. And if any of you have been on tripod before then you will know why i want a new server. (The ads, the space, the speed, and the reliability all is terrible.) and if any of you want to look at my site it is at This location. Thank you too all that helps.

I have a Notebook PC And a Desktop PC.I want to connect them both because my home computer has more memory then my laptop. I was wondering if there is any software that will connect 2 PC's with out buying anymore gear. I have a Eathernet cord and both my laptop and desktop have eathernet cards in them. They are both running windows XP. (my home computer has professional and my laptop has home edition). If anyone know anything about connecting two computers together with out a hub then please message this back. And if anyone also knows this i have wireless internet from my nabors but my laptop is the only machine that has a wireless card. Is there anyway to share this connection without a hub or any additional hardware? Thanks in advance.

Ive seen a lot of people using p2p. Most of them think that its "safe".P2P is has a lot of viral files. It also has a lot of spyware and ad's. On top of that 98% of the files being shared on it is illigal. If you plan to download files on P2P then be careful and follow some or all of the suggestions below.1)Have a UPDATED virus scanner and scan your computer every day. (recommended Nortan or McAfee Antivirus)2)Have a spyware removal program (spybot or ad-aware or any other good spyware program)3)Back up your important documents so that if something goes wrong you wont lose anything.4)have a clean start CD or hard drive as you may need to use these.5)CHECK IF THE PROGRAM THAT YOUR DOWNLOADING IS LEGAL!The P2P programs arent ilegal them selves and thats why this network is still active. But As i said before 98% of the files on the network are ilegal. Also 15% of the files on there are misnamed or viruses. Be careful on these networks as they open ports on your computer making it an open data box. Your safer just not to use these programs but they can be useful in legal ways. Again be careful about how you use them and read there agreements carefuly as the program may instal ad-ware on your computer.

Satellite Toshiba. Modem Disabled Guess XP has something to do...
illdevilinc replied to xavierrd's topic in Software
You should be able to download the driver back into the computer from http://www.toshiba.com/tic/transmission-distribution-systems it should bring back the modem to a working status once it is installed. Windows XP has a habbit of messing around with its files if something is done wrong in control pannel. So dont do anything with control pannel unless you know what yolur doing. If the driver dosent help put in the toshiba recover disk into the drive and reinstall the Toshiba software modem back into the computer. If that also dosent work then you will havce to perform a compleate system recovery (also using the same disk as above). TO DO A RECOVERY--- 1.Save all data that you will want back onto the computer to some kind of removable media (Cd, external hard drive that is not being used by windows, or a flash drive.) 2. While computer is still turned on put the disk in your CD drive. 3. Restart the computer 4. When you see TOSHIBA on the screen press the C key until the screen changes. 5. initiate the recovery. If none of the steps above fix the problem its most likly hardware problems. If it is a hardware problem take it into a toshiba otherized repair center (list availible on http://www.toshiba.com/tic/transmission-distribution-systems) If the Computer is under warrenty they should fix it at no charge to you. P.S. I have the same laptop and #1 fixed it for me.
