hello guys! i was wondering if someone know how to connect the COM port or knows how to receive data from it, my situation is:I have a program that has some games, and the games are controlled via the keyboard, but i can also add a DLL that detects the COM port entries (data) so that i just tell the program which data(like simulating a pressed key) is doing certain things, the problem is that I am not familiar with VB or C, so does anyone has a DLL that can be executed from outside and return the value?thanx in advance guys

ok i will over-write it, i think catfish is right, i dint think the new one will contain the data included in the old one since it is being over-written, ok i will give it a try to see what happens :-), thanx for your help guys!

hello guys!... i just installed from fantastico joomla and i while i was installing it, it prompt me if i wish to install it on the root directory i should delete the .htaccess that is there, my question is, what happens if i delete the file located there or if i replace the file?Is it going to damage my site, the login or something? hello guys!, i uploaded a 8 MB zip and every tie i try to download it, the download crashes and doesnt let me to download it complete. Any ideas of this behavior? o what happens? do i need a dedicated server? did i miss some kind of configuration?

well it depends what they are doing, i mean maybe those 30 gb are from a mail server or from some site..the curious thing is that i think it might be true, they have the latest techonlogy and maybe they just wanna make sure they are the best

hello guys! i was thinking about the Mail() function coz lately all the mails i send to my friends are send as SPAM and honestly it is a little annoying due to some of them (maybe all of them) use hotmail and the mails they got arrive to the SPAM section, is there anything wrong with my script should i add more headers? and why scripts like the Zen Cart can send mails directly to the Inbox folder?

well that wasnt exactly what i want, this is my situation.At school we have some kind of club and we are several, and to avoid soemone else can even sees the page i would like to use this feature "WebProtect" that is included in cpanel, but th big diference is that when they just register to have the script (this is not the problem yet) insert their user name and password into the database the "Web Protect" feature uses (This is the problem) where to insert the data?

hello guys i was wondering how to add new users allowed to poen cartain folder but added from a php script or something.In fact i want just my friends see that folder but as soon as they register, they are granted inmediatly with the selected user and password they chose, is it possible? how? and where to add them?

bloggin has become something very natural, i mean if ther is no time to tall or to share ideas by talking or even if you are alone, the best thing to do is just to blog, you share ideas by writing them and then what is the best in my opinion is when you read what you wrote seeing that it is not anything it is your ideas draw on an electronic paper isnt it?It works also to store random ideas, save them as draft makes it easier to remember the inspiration.

hello guys, well first of all in my opinion we all know what is artificial intelligence, to make the machines think as normal as if they were a person ar at leat an animal, someone or somethink that think by itself and doesnt need extra help to know and understand situations and so on.But in my opinion the good question would be How to cretate Artificical Intelligence? or How make Machines think as natural? I assume some of you guys have seen some of the honda or Sony robots including the famous ibo, and Qrio. I have thought a lot about it, and i imagined what could happen if computers or robots (specially androids) can be able to write their code by themselves!, creapy isnt it? imagine no more programmers or companies that ask for money in order to produce some robots for you! we would work for them?!?! or what, honestly i prefer the robots that are programmed manually but that doesnt think
