  1. I heard this game was great. The Player versus Player aspect is apparently leagues ahead of WoW.
  2. The World of Warcraft is a really great game, definitly my favorite MMORPG. It's also the only game that's kept me entertained for 3 or so years. Ragnarok Online was a pretty good game too.
  3. I'm fairly certain that base mana is without gear or buffs to your mana pool. It's a percentage of what you'd have with no gear or buffs just after hitting 80. If I remember correctly, Slow is currently based off of Base Mana and the mana cost doesn't change depending on your amount of mana. It may have been a different spell but I'm pretty sure it was Slow.
  4. This game does indeed rule. The only problem I have with it, though, is the targetting system. There's no button to just switch who you're attacking. Other than that, it's awesome. Raw vs. Smackdown 2009 looks awesome too, specifically Create-A-Finisher.
  5. I loved this game. I liked all of the character's and the storyline was good. The graphics were amazing for it's time, too. A lot of people complain about Tidus whining a lot, but honestly, judging by what he's gone through, you can't really blame him.
  6. I love both games, but I prefer Final Fantasy 7. Probably a little biased considering it was my first RPG, but I still love that game. The characters appealed to me more and I felt more connected with the storyline. The sidequests, like chocobos, were insanely fun too.
  7. Runescape is pretty fun when you're playing with your friends or just have some time to waste. It's not as good as other online franchises like the World of Warcraft, for instance, but Runescape is completely free to play, which is a great part of the game. I'd say go ahead and try it out, because some people completely hate the game and other's love it. Really depends on what you look for in a game, like graphics and such. The game's pretty repetitive and the graphics are fairly bad, but it's still fun to do Player versus Player battles or just go grind some combat levels out with some friends.
  8. Personally, I don't see a huge correlation between driving on a video game and driving in reality. In a video game, you're using a game controller for one thing, so you're not really having the same experience then if you were using a steering wheel and hitting the gas or break pedals with your foot. Plus, in video games, you're trying to drive as fast as possible to get to your destination or finish the race in first, as opposed to getting to your destination safely and without damaging your car or yourself in real life. In the video game world, crashing means nothing. In reality, crashing costs a lot of money, or lives.
  9. Honestly, the game may be "addicting" and all, but to play for 50 hours straight is just taking it too far. I've played the World of Warcraft for about three years and, although I have played for large amounts of time now and again, I've never come close to playing for that long. It's really the guy's fault for thinking it was a good idea to play for so long. Personally, I think the game's not addicting at all as long as you realize that it's just a game. It's not a big deal. I guess some people don't think the same way.
