some people are saying that opera is faster, some say firfox is faster, some say safari. but what i think is that the fastness depends on a lot of aspects as given below. the difference comes into account in the way they load (not how they interpret) the web page. firfox loads the images first and then the texts with their styles simultaneously. but opera loads the texts then their styles and then only the images. 1. type of content you want to browse. if you are browsing mainly text contents then firefox seems to be bit slower than opera. 2. type of server you are browsign. In the server if the images are randomly placed and these images are going to be parsed then obviously firefox and also opera takes some time. but in between firefox and opera, opera loads bit slower. i used to use IE for surfing. but when i came across the firfox it seemed to be better in every aspects, excluding the case of very slower connections. in slower internet connections IE loads faster then firefox. if the speed is very slow then you can find out that IE is noticiably faster then firefox. all my thinking were changed when i tried opera. it has a lot of facilities in addition to those present in firefox. Opera Mini (for mobile) is really great. It's the best browser to view HTML files. it also possess zoom functionality. Really I am in love with my opera browser. though i have installed both firefox and opera, but i use opera mainly. i use firefox hardly.
