Is this just a waste of billions of dollars, a valuable scientific experiment, or a genuine risk of creating a chain reaction which will ultimately destroy the earth? Could this even be the answer to the creation conundrum? This experiment could perhaps confirm the big bang theory, and the existence of black holes, either of which could have tremendous ramifications. It could justify the belief in God, or further weaken that belief. Personally, I think it is just a vast toy for scientists to play with.

I would suggest using a bungee (elasticated) cord, connecting it to a suitable part of the boot, and thus keeping the oil container upright. Or perhaps go round corners slower. ;)

Democracy: Say what you like, but do as you are told.That may sound cynical, but it is true. Our politicians don't ask us what we want when they are electioneering, they tell us what they propose to do once elected. Once elected they then do as they want anyway.Not only that, when there is an important moral vote, they vote on partisan lines, they do not vote according to the wishes of their constituents. True democracy can only be carried out by the use of committees, beginning at ground level where the wishes of the people are paramount, those wishes being passed to those in power. Something which would never work just because of the sheer scale of work involved, and different people wanting different things.

I would definitely go for a satnav system which actually works, without sending you on ridiculous routes where vehicles were never meant to go, or are not allowed to go, or taking you miles and miles out of your way!

Anyone else tried Google Chrome (beta)?I tried it, and from a surfers point of view, it seems quick, responsive and well worth trying.It is open source, so hopefully there are none of those Google tracking issues.As yet, there are no extra features or add-ons, but with it being open source, it is possible.I don't play online games, so can't vouch for it's effectiveness in that field.
