This is because not al viruses can be detected or deleted by your anti virus porotection. This has happened to me it has sed cannot delete. Sometimes it will tell you what file it is located it in look in that file and try deleting it manually. p.s this dosnt always work depends on what virus you have.

Well recently i have had problems installing norton 2005 so i have switched to avg anti virus which seem to be much better in my opinion. Anti virus software only makes your pc boot up slower because it is starting all the programs in your quick launch toolbar and the more things that needed to be started when booting up makes it that bit slower but it shouldnt make a majour difference. If you are virus canning your pc while browsing the internet i have found this makes your web browser take longer to buffer vidios even make them crash but i have an old pc so this could be why.

Well i use AVG anti virus protection which i recently downloaded this week because i had problems installing norton. And i also you kiero firewall wich i dont think i have evr hasd any problems with it always seem to be the anti-virus portection in my case but it could be my firewall aswell am not to sure

O also dont forget that your any virus protection soft ware dosent protect you from evry virus you get on your personal computer that is why you should be scanning every file you download before you open and install the folder. I also suggest that you download lots of free anti-virus software ant try all different ones and which ever on you like best in your opinion you should use. You should also defrag your computer evry so often to make sure all your files are in there correct rightfull places and to make sure your computer is working in the fastest possible way. I think the new ANG anti-virus sortware has just come out aswell. I fort that 7.5 was really good so this should only be better because it is an improoved version with faster scanning and updating so your sytem is protected. And if you forget to scan your pc you can set reminders on some anti-virus programs that pop up at the time you set it reminding you to scan you files and computer.

I suggest you use the free avg and i think the free new trial has just been released. By the way virus programs dont detect evry virys on your computer so take care to scan it every so ofetn to make sure your pc is completely virus free

Personally i would prefer AVG. I have recently installed avg because i have been having problems installing norton. I am only usin the free trial but i am thinking of upgrading to the new one because in my opinion you cant go wrong with avg if you update it regularry and scan your pc often

I have had lots of trojans and normally when i get a virus that bad i have to format my computer because it is running so slow because of the virus i cant do now. Once i scanned it it was goin that slow it took 3 days to scan. I suggest you scan your computr and all the files you download regularry. Scan tht files before you open them and this should prevent you from getting viruses.

Go back and do the instalation slowly and make sure you fill in al the spaces because you may have missed something out
