My favorite new MUD is Amitoune; it doesn't have a lot of new players, but it is very promising. Pets - you can hire pets and they follow you around and level up with you. Laws - instead of strict pkilling/nonpkilling, has "laws." Very strictly enforced in towns and cities. Houses - Houses, clan halls. You can hire guards to defend your house. You can build a jail in your house/clanhall to keep intruders. You can customize your house in too many ways to count. Amitoune Mud Anyone else want to mention some notable muds?
