  3. hyai believe that i would spend approximately 4 hours per day surfing the internet, my computer probably has a connection to the internet for 14 hours of the day. this time i don't think is excessive, although i laughed when transgrx posted he was on the internet 80 hours per day, it often feels like that here. i haven't included work in this calculation.i'm not sure wether a person is able to become addicted to the internet..................let me run a google search hehe.bye 4 nowwinnie_the_witch
  4. hipersonally i don't think that the test is a test of iq, the more a person practised this kind of logic and deductive discrimination the easier this particular problem is to solve. true this is a common criticism of iq tests, as is the fact iq test are culturally dependant, eg. when a person is asked "every rose has a ...." who has the better chance of answering it the american or the sub-saharan african?although the riddle is a good example of deductive reasoning showing a level of concentration and motivation, it would interest me to know how many answered the question correctly while making notes and the number who answered the question correctly without, i think then the riddle becomes a indicator of memory and and mental agility.i wager anyone who is able to remember the first word of this post without looking could solve the riddle without pen and paper hehe.bye 4 nowwinnie_the_witch
  5. hello i liked the banner, the font was well chosen, complimented the colouring and imagary. the text was easy to read and the smaller font was still bold against the background. as to its size i would only comment that for me to include it as the header for a page it would cause difficulty. its size would displace content in a very important part of the page, ie. the top half and if it was reduced in height it would become difficult to identify the character on the left of the banner. as a piece of graphic design i thought it was brilliant loved the colouring and the balance created by the two characters placed left and right. the transitions in colouring was impressive and i would have been pleased to create the design. perhapes you would like to comment on one of my headers? bye 4 now
  6. hi the only critique of dreamweaver i have found that i can possibly make is a two pointed attack on what is a wonderful software to design with. Firstly it is true that to a programmer dreamweaver often produces a messy or inconcise code. however the ease that dreamweaver allows the designer to add css style sheets and applying them with 2 clicks of the mouse to the table tag is awsome. although it is unfortunate that the user has to apply the style sheet to each page that they are designing separately. also the positioning of graphics and type could be givern more freedom in the program by allowing the graphic interface [property inspector, for those familiar] to allow the positioning of graphics on the page by a pixal co-ordinate as is done in the writting of html script this would allow the designer far more freedom and speed to design the page without the creation of complex tables. having said this dreamweaver is a wounderful development tool and its ability to organise and upload with ftp every time the webpage is save makes it a must for any webdesigner.
