Freehosts are free... so what can you really ask for? If a free host has smtp access and maybe no banner I'm happy enough to be honest. Oh, and of course it has to support scripts

I like dreamweaver, but that's just a preference. I think you have all your bases covered, but make sure you know what the customer wants and has in mind, what image he wants the site to portray. Otherwise it seems you're in the good

there's no program out that will match photoshop for free... however there are plenty out that may accomplish what you want to do for free... or at least for a trial period... which kinda sucks since you'll need it sooner or later again right? Time to dish out the cash I guess, depends on you

I use AVG free antivirus, its always being updated and small proggram. I really recommend it, go pick it up over at downloads.com, can't hurt to try, and honestly it's worth money. Always nice to get somethin free tho

I would highly recommend AVG free antivirus, costantly being updated, nice interface, simple program, seems to have a couple other things it runs with it (all relative) which I dont like, but otherwise great antivirus. Go to downloads.com to pick it up.

so I'm interested in adding a newsletter subscription to my website for visitors that are interested. I configured the cgi script, now I'm only wondering how to use the smtp feature with Xisto.. would 'localhost' suffice, or will I be needing to get smtp auth? thanks for the help
