If you look at google now, it's a bunch of disparate programs waiting to be coherently linked together. It looks like those little programs that early days computer enthusiasts used to put together. Maybe that's why their laid-back air is so popular with the masses.But will googlemania finally die out one day when they fail to link these separate parts together? If they succeed, then what they achieve is a new WEB altogther.

The consultants are people who normally are poor in actual programming, but good at talking and sales, and they rose up to be a consultant.Here, a programmer works from 8:30am to 9pm everyday rushing projects. Pay increments are low, and can expected to be laid off by 35 yrs old, once u are considered technologically backward.How's life of a programmer in your country? Google became famous and popular initially for it's excellent search results.Previously, relevance ranking was all based on page contents. That's when people started to manipulate their contents to gain a higher rank, and search results got screwed. Googled figured out that by analysing the links to a page, it can guage it's ranking better. Of cos, it figured out a way to discount those links which were put in manipulatively. That's when all engines gave crap results and it gave good results. Other engines have played catch-up, but google is far ahead now.

Google Automat: Web-Based User-Assisted Classified Advertising Sounds like they have a new idea in the works. Anyone have any guess abt the concrete thing that they are going to do?
