  1. I've been wanting to do this for a while. I cant bare the thought of someone using my precious photos without permission . The Photoshop action seems the logical choice. I also know that Adobe Bridge allows you to embed META data into your photos which is helpful also.-Ryan
  2. I've used both Mandrake and Debian and i preffer Debian. I know Mandrake has urpmi but i just love apt-get!As for window managers i'm in love with Gnome. KDE is ok...but i like the feel of Gnome better. Xfce also looks like it has potential but i've heard that setup is a pain.-Ryan
  3. I LOVE Gmail. When i heard that google was introducing a new mail service with 1GB of storage space i almost fell out of my chair. I'm the kind of person who never lets an email sit in my inbox for more than a week and the idea of "never throwing any email away" sounded absurd to me. Now that i've gotten to use gmail i find that storing a backup copy of all my emails on the gmail server is VERY convienient and makes my life a lot easier. My favorite gmail features has to be the free POP mail access, though. -Ryan
  4. I have to admit, when i first saw the pictures of it on Engadget i couldnt beleive that Nintendo would create such a beast. I was convinced that it was a fake. Now that i look at it more closely, it does seem that it might actually be more comfortable then previous controller designs. I guess i'll just have to reserve judgement until i try it out in the store.

  6. My favorite Mac app would have to be fink aswell. Being a noob to the whole linux world, fink makes it very convenient for me to learn how to use the amazingly powerful Terminal the OSX has built in.For those who are not linux geeks but instead preffer books and movies, Delicious Library makes a great addition to your apps folder. <hxx delicious-monster.com for the Apple apps, i can not seem to go back to firefox ever since i upgraded to Tiger and fell in love with Safari 2.0. Mail is very convenient and iChat is just fun to use (i love the speech bubbles .I would love to see google release Google Talk for mac. It looks very clean and would be a nice addition to a gmail account. If you are bi-lingual such as myself or just simply curious of other cultures, "CocoaJT" might be a fun app for you. It is a cocoa-built app that allows you to watch online streams of many tv programs from all around the world.Maybe some more reccomendations later -Ryan
