I was reading the paper today about a man in South Korea who went on a 50 hour binge playing World of Warcraft and died of heart failure, caused by dehydration and starvation. Can video games become so engrossing that it numbs all effects such as hunger, thirst, or pain? It's hard to believe that he would not grab something to eat after playing for a little over 2 days straight. The article said that this kind of thing happens all the time in South Korea, not to the extreme of dying though. South Korea's connectivity to the world is very high, very close to the United States if not passed it. Their leaps in technology have made the internet a necessity which is both a good and bad thing.Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I just thought it was interesting :-P.

MMORPG is definitely my favorite. I like how you can customize your character and how it feels you are in a never-ending story that you can control.

Halo 2 is a fun game, but still lacks some features that Counter Strike has had for years. You cannot choose what map you play in Halo 2 yet, but from what I hear it will be implemented in the next update.HL2 will always reign best First Person Shooter of its time. No doubt about it.

I myself play WoW and so do a few of my friends. We always group together, share loot, share gold, and we are in the same guild. Probably the reason I didn't buy Guild Wars was because no one plays it in my area. I know maybe 2 people that bought it, From what I have heard, Blizzard's updates are much better that GW's and contain more content. But, from experience, I can say Blizzard likes to insert cool new features but rarely ever fixes bugs, such as the Mage bugs which have been ignored since retail. Both games have their strong points, but it depends on who has it and who doesn't in my opinion.

Pompeii And Mt. Vesuvius Will it happen again?

I've heard a lot about this too. I think it will erupt soon also, but seeing as how their city was destroyed before and the thousands of people died, I don't think they would doubt a scientist saying it will erupt. I knew if I lived there, I would definitely leave if there was an evacuation notice. -
Well, the Catholic Church is pretty strict on that kind of thing. They are probably trying to scare people into not looking at erotic images, saying they will go blind or worse. Hard to believe, but nevertheless interesting.

Evolution Or God... How were we created?

I think we are products of evolution, but I also believe there is some for of higher power that guides us in a way. I've heard some pretty convincing things about how we evolved from amphibians what used to live in water but came to land. Kind of interesting to think about. -
Area 51 What do you think it is?

Well, it is a known fact that it does exist, whether the government says it or not. Basically, in my opinion, they test a wide range of aircraft, nothing close to flying saucers though. The Stealth Bomber (The one that looks like a flying wing) was said to have been tested there. There have even been reports of the Aura fighter being seen in the skies over area-51, an extremely fast bomber.
