I was unable to view the clip you had due to some error. But editing is pretty simple, but inorder to not have a choppy looking clip and /or have the two angles run too long, it takes practice and patience. Your camera angles should be short- anything too long the viewer will get bored and it will just be filling up time. As for sound effects and music- music you will have to get licensed cd's or have someone make some music for you. You can get special effect sound clips online for free- you just have to do a search for them- some sound good, some don't, just remember they are free- if you pay for them they will be better. You can also make your own or "get " your own but you need to be creative. I hope this is of some help.....

I'd recommend trying the demo versions of the programs you are interested in. All companies should have them. I know Vegas 6.0 is out. Whether you have a Mac or PC, it shouldn't matter. They are both good platforms. Final Cut is good. Vegas is good. (I never liked the Premiere- they version I used was linear and they tried to make it like cutting film- waste of time.) If you have a PC and like the PC, cool. As for the spyware etc... I recommend, if you are doing media (Audio or Video) having an internet computer and your media computer. It will keep it safe. That's what I have been doing for the last 8 years. Enjoy!

I was wondering if anyone has or has heard of a program that will let you create comic books or story boardss on the computer. I am tired of drawing them by hand. Some sort of freeware is the best idea, but I guess a paid software would be ok. I make an internet TV program and I need something to give to the directors to show my ideas, along with the script. I figure a comic book is the best idea.Thanks in advance....

Download the demo of Vegas from the sony multimedia site. It is so simple and comes with the full help file. It is a full version but expires after time. It has all kinds of effects and it is a not linear, mutitrack editing system.Check it out. Ed

You can download the demo version of Vegas 6.0 and it does what you are wanting to do, it can do it in 3d also.

IN Vegas 6 you select the clip and insert a velosity envelope. Click on the envelope line and drag it down to the bottom of the clip- it slows down the clip then after reaching a specific point, it reverses the clip. Simple and cool. Ed

How do you get it to run automatically as a signature? I think it totally looks cool and I'd liketo try to make one.

Windows media player, Quicktime, Real player etc....... .avi is a standard file format. You comuter should be able to read it. Try updating the versions of the said programs.

you can get free versions of Cubase and editing software like that with sound cards and stuff. You can check out demo versions of different software by going to thier sites and then make comaprisons. You might like some of them enough to buy a version.

I agree about Vegas, but go with the demo of Vegas 6. It lasts for 30 days and it is a complete version. You will need the .net framework and directx 9I downloaded it and LOVE it!! (i was using vegas 2)

There have been programs that remove vocal and you van use them for other instruments, but they were a glorified EQ section that allowed you to cut out frequencies. The other instruments suffered from the experience. Even the noise reduction software finds the frequency and duplicates it to phase it out, but you still loose a little bit- but that really won't get rid of an instrument. There was a box by roland called the ....VR something or other, that did a whole bunch of stuff like this, but i can't remember everything about it. The best thing is to get the isolated tracks and mix from there.

I am looking for a 1st person simulator game that is like a virtual reality style game. Maybe you have some gloves to represent fists, or a gun to shoot-em up or something. It think if the game was a bit physical I would enjoy games more.Are there any GOOD ones like this? (there was a rad shooter zombie game on dream cast I liked.)

I don't get much time to play games, but i like the Pride FC game. I like th UFC game also, but the Price game is cool. I like the fighters and the moves are better.

Well,.. I think it is kinda gnarley. Some cloned out fake/real meat. I guess that would save the lives of animals etc, but what of over population of both animals and people. It may sound kinda callas, but there is population control, not just natural. Imagine...no one ever dies, or they just live a real long time. These people/animals reproduce, and then the offspring does not die, then they reproduce, and so on. There will not be any room for people to live on earth, and we are not advanced enough (as yet) to populate other planet (toids). Will the animal rights activist then try to establish rights for the genetically created foodstuffs? They will no other cause to fight for. I think genetically created food is a good idea, but there are concequences for messing with mother nature. Just "food" for thought

How does it hold up to the Mazda RX8? I used to have a mazda mx3 and a RX4. I like the mazda, but that of the Eclpse?

What do you mean by media center? Is it some type of hardware/software that runs your TV DVD etc stuff via computer? That is something I am looking to do, get my computer to run the entire entertainment center.

I haven't heard anything form BeOS in years... I thought they had got bought out by somebody.

I'm still using the matrox, I think it's something like the G-500 or something. It's old but works great.
