  1. Hello Kevin,It is great to see you in the Asta Host community, hope you like it here. Hope to see your posts in the forums.
  2. There are tons of great photo editing programs out there today and not all, well most of them aren't free, this is because of the features the programs have.Take for instance, Ulead Videostudio, this isnt free, well it is free if you buy certain Video Cameras, this wouldnt be a free software because you can transfer your videos to the software, edit them to make them look real good, and add effects to them and then, you can use that software to burn your movie to a DVD. Of course you have to have a DVD burner which I have, I have burnt loads of movies to DVD using that software.Ulead PhotoExpress isnt free either. Only free with certain Digital cameras. I find this software not the best in Photo Editing as you have to set up the printing, you cant just print it the way you have taken the picture, you have to set the middle of the photo and depending on the picture you took, if it is of something big like a foot ball field, its real hard to set. I have printed albums and albums of photos using my digital camera and Photo Express. Some photos didnt turn out so well, but now I have bought a new printer with Pict Bridge technology and I just print it without using my computer, just print them via the printer. If you buy a Kodak digital camera, you will get photo software, Kodak Easyshare, you use this to transfer your photos, print them and even edit them if you want. I found this software so user friendly and easy to use that well, even a baby could use it. Well maybe not a baby, but you get my idea. Any old person can use it. I used that when I had my Kodak Digital camera but now I have another one and don't need it. I found it so easy to use, easy to transfer, edit and then print my pictures. The best feature of the editing was the quality of the red eye reduction.Ok, so there you have three editing softwares. Two for photos and one for editing, you can check out more information at http://www.videostudiopro.com/en/?utm_source=ulead&utm_medium=redirect&utm_term=/&utm_campaign=ulead and http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ all from me
  3. I wouldnt say Xisto was un reliable. It occurs on all web hosting servers. Geocities, Angelfire, Tripod, t35 and there are many reasons that your site will go offline, you may run out of bandwidth, the server is closed down for maitnence of upgradesAll those sorts of things make your website go offline.
  4. No, the gpedit does not work on Windows Xp Home. I have XP home and tried it but it doesnt work so you need Pro to run gpdedit.
  5. to hungyuen, here is something for you. Now, you can either get one of the two software.there is the $600 Dreamweaveror the $250 Frontpage. Now I use Frontpage and it works fine, its easy to use and easy to create websites and then get it onto the internet. Here are some tips if you use frontpage:Either use the Design View or the Split view if you dont know enough HTML codeDesign your website using tables, this will make it better and neater looking. There is so much you can do using Microsoft Frontpage. The only difference between Dreamweaver and Frontpage is that Frontpage only uses HTML design where as Dreamweaver uses others like:HTML but as well as:CSSJSPSHTMLXHTMLand more others. So you can just buy Frontpage and it has so many cool features and web components to make your group a professional looking website. Good Luck.
  6. I have heard that Rockstar Games will be bringing out another GTA but no release date is sure yet.
  7. to The Knowledge,Hi,as far as i know, free hosting just doesn't want you to have to many privilleges because after all, you are getting there hosting space for free, so, there may be things out there that you can install so you can get it to work but I haven't seen anything. I haven't really had to do that sort of thing, I put other things on my websites, not much video. So anyway, sorry about that, i hope someone else reads your post and knows of something you can install so it will work. Good Luck.
  8. My favourite media players.well i use a few. i use itunes for windows, windows media player and real player. i use itunes for my music and i use windows media player and real player for my videos. it depends what the website offers. like i watch a few different things and sometimes i watch live cam, live cam will use media player where as most downloaded movies and videos will use my Real Player.I like to listen to music alot so itunes is probably my favourite, then tagging along in second is media player followed by real player.
  9. Hi, i am a DSL subscriber. Well, DSL wireless and we have a few computers connected. But, I have played many games on my DSL connection, I have no trouble playing them.It might just be alot of people are on at the time and that's why it's slow.
  10. I heard that the price of the PS3 was going to be more than $456 USD but it depends on the person that says it. People hear different things and then just say what they hear. I heard it was going to be something like $650 USD, because of all the things it can do. That is something I haven't heard though. What can it do? Of course, it can probably play PS2 games as well as PS3 games if they ever come out and can probably play DVD's. More than likely network play as well. Anything that the current PS2 can do and more. It is said that Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4) will be coming out on PS3 as a PS3 exclusive and will not be coming out onto PS2 or any other gaming console such as the XBOX 360 or Nintendo Revolution. Has anyone heard when its coming out? I heard that its not coming out until around Sprng 2006 in maybe Japan. Then it will come out in North America months later. It's said that the power of this console will be x35 more than the PS2. That is huge. Some more features that can't be done on PS2 is it can use up to 7 WIRELESS!!! contols and it's going to have two ports for High Definition TV. (HDTV). And for all you PSP owners, its said that you will be able to use your PSP device to do things like use it as another control or as an additional screen. That's something really good. It will come with a 2.5 inch hard drive and may have various slots for SD memory cards. Aside playing games on the PS3, it's said that you will be able to access digital music and audio files, view your digital photos. offer video chat and even maybe be able to access the internet. It will have an inbuilt gigabit Ethernet port and will be able to access both types of wireless internet access, 802.11b and 802.11g. From what I can see, the PS3 won't just be a game console, but a home entertainment suite as well. I really can't wait until it comes out.
