I think 400 by 600 is a good size for you. My view on this whole thing however is that photos should be big enough to show the expression that they are meant to show the viewers. Size issue obviously hurts that but you gotta do what you gotta do. Slideshow is something you can make in flash, I don't think it's that hard to do, try looking around the net for tutorial or what not. kirupa.com is a good flash tutorial site... but there're a lot of them out there right now. So browse the net and I'm sure you will find something. Then you can simply put your flash .swf file onto your page and if that's convenient enough for you then great.

Of course it's gonna be expensive in the beginning. That was the case with PS2 and Xbox when they came out... and of course, that's just how market's demand works. About how powerful it's gonna be... from what I've read it's not gonna 2x as powerful as XBOX but more powerful, which is already good news for me. So everything is going as I think people should have expected it... it's 2005... and a lot of technology is being held back tremendously in order to generate as much profit out of everybit of it currently... and it's all understandable. As far PS3's design concerned... Nice... nothing special really... no reason to go crazy about it... I will probably buy one somewhere down the line, when the price goes down, because then I won't need a DVD player or anything like that, since it plays all those different types of discs... I think it can be easily used instead of a DVD player since the remote controls are all BlueTooth now... and there're like what? 7 of them? COol stuff. GO SONY!

What Is The Best Digital Camera
xandervin replied to chris1234's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Hmm... I think Nikon Coolpix series and Canon DIgital Rebel series are the best camera out there... I really want to get Canon DR XT, but till I have money for one, I'll probably end up getting a new version of it or something... I currently have a semi-professional Olympus 5000Z... Since I'm still a very amateur photographer, I am learning everything with it... good enough for now... Okay, is that the one that costs like 20 grand?? Damn... It must be good... You are lucky... Are a professional? haha... well it all depends what you use it for doesn't? -

wow I love your style and that sig picture that you have on is hot. Heh, not too bad, it's kinda pop-artsy... You seem like an amateur though, but this stuff is fun, so I hope you keep at it! -

Nice work, bit too gothic for my liking but I'm sure there're a lot of people who appreciate this kind of stuff. Keep it up.

Ipod Vector Trace Constructive criticism appreciated
xandervin replied to ninjamunky's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Oh I definitely agree with you? I mean look at Apple and amazing job and Steven Jobbs and his designers came up... Apple Ipod, and Ieverything really sells like crazy and it features those simple, minimalistics design, I do a lot of stuff like that myself and love it.I think simplicity and minimalism are dominant in advertisement right now and it will stay so for a while. I think you really did an amazing job... I love vector work and I'm a big fan of Ipod and Apple designs... I am really interested in learning Illustrator, just can't to seem to put my hands on it... Great work! It really may seem like a photo to those who know nothing about this stuff! Would love to see more of your work! By the way... Did you say this Ipod Photo? Because, I'm sure everyone here knows it isn't.
