Thank you all very much for your replies, although not the answer I was hoping for ;) but still good to know. I just thought there may have been some way for the data to be written directly to the XML file as a "post", maybe I was just getting my hopes up but looks like I will have to go to a server that supports PHP as suggested. I will look into all of your suggestions for servers.Unfortunately doesn't support CGI either, from what i know it is a very limited server as far as the support and software it has to offer. I think that if i want PHP and ASP on that server I would have to pay, and being a student I cant really afford to pay for anything like that . So I guess I should post more here and build up my points.Once again, thank you all for your help, it is highly appreciated.

Hey all,I am currently hosted on a Freehost server that doesn't support PHP and I am wanting to make a forum. Its just a small site, that gets a little traffic so there isn't any issue of a database getting too big.I have searched Google for several hours and come up empty-handed and then i thought "Xisto! someone there is bound to know" So here are my questions... Is it possible to make a forum using XML? (No PHP), and if so, is it safe? or will i just open up my site to anyone with XML knowledge to hack my site by passing code?Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hey all,Thanks for all your posts, keep them coming by the way Sportadic22 you can actually run in SWAT 4 but the difference isn't that noticeable. I think its good that they went for a realistic game cause its not like you would have a SWAT team come running into a hostage situation jumping around everywhere and running at full speed through a group of terrorists although that would be quite funny to see

LOL, I had a few problems with that old lady too, in my first attempt to get her to comply i shot her legs with non-lethal weapons until she was incapacitated unfortunately that caused me to fail the mission, so the next time around i gave her a good pelting with the O.C(PepperBall) gun ;)I found that i got fully use to the controls after the first 2 or 3 levels, i made a few mistakes along the way like using the Opti-wand to look under the door to see that no one was in the room and a few times i accidentally wasted a grenade on an empty room :DI also accidentally shot at one of my men using the sniper while he ran through a room to get to my position :DYeah it is pretty unfair how accurate the bad guys are, i also feel that the amount of accuracy you loose from moving is way too high. it pays to move slowly or not at all if you want a long distance shot

Anyway... to all of the people that haven't given this game a go, as you can most likely work out from my original post, I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone that is into tactics and to those of you that simply like to run in and do busts on drug dealers or take out guys trying to rob a bank and so on it truly is a great game. if you think you might like this game, try and find a demo version and then see how you feel as this game isn't for everyone, and does require tactics, cause if you go in guns blazing not only will you run out of ammo pretty quick but you will most likely fail the mission

Hey,Sorry if this sounds a bit silly but what is the point in disabling the registry editor (apart from stopping other users from editing the registry file)? wouldn't it be an inconvenience if you needed to make a change to your registry?

Its not really that weird Ramfan22890 , as you said it is compressed air, but when air is compressed it turns to a liquid (which is very cold, a good example of this is Liquid Nitrogen lovely stuff) and when the can is used the liquid evaporates and turns back into a gas (air) and if the can is turned upside down then the liquid is forced out quicker which means that Supapinoy87's "buddy" had the "liquid air" make contact with his/her skin, and basically the "liquid air" froze the skin and created frost-bite(freezer burn) as mentioned before by Totalgorepresident. I had a can of compressed air but I somehow broke the nozzle button thingy off (I think I knocked the can off my desk) and trust me, if you break the nozzle thingy off, its isn't a good idea to try and use it again

Hi kratjeheineken, my suggestion for an HTML generator would be Macromedia Dreamweaver but as you say it has to be "Free" and "No trial" that counts that out. other than that i can only suggest Notepad or EditPlus (although EditPlus is not free, unless you get the trial version ) I use EditPlus alot as it has templates for HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, C++ and a whole bunch of other types of files. Are you wanting a generator to avoid typing all the code? If you are wanting to learn the syntax of HTLM the best way is to type out the code rather than get a generator to do it for you, and as Szupie said generators add a lot of unnessasary code. Hi, I'm looking at upgrading my current RAM to get Dual channel and i just had one question floating around in my head that i would like to know the answer to, so if anyone could help that would be cool If i buy a set of Dual channel RAM, am I able to use my old stick of RAM alongside the new RAM and still get the Dual channel benefit?(my current RAM is 512MB DDR and I'm looking at getting 512MB dual channel)Thanks in advance for your help.
