Mine's an Acer laptop called Shiny McShiny, so called because umm... he's shiny.I know next to nothing about computer specs, so I'll copy from the battered little sticker...Intel Pentium 4 processor 3GHz15.0" XGA TFT LCDATI Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP40GB HDDDVD/CD-RW Combo512MB DDR802.11b/g wireless LAN[very little of that makes any sense to me. I have 4 USB ports, too.]

I have 53 running right now, including 3 messengers, a Livejournal client, an email client, Firefox & an explorer window.

CSI [all three series]; House, MD; Veronica Mars; Grey's Anatomy & around November, Strictly Come Dancing.

Wasn't it proven that with two hands, you have more control over the car than with just one? And talking on the phone distracts you. Your concentration is automatically split between both the road and whoever's talking to you, more times if there are other people in the car talking too.

They also play in Winamp... I downloaded and installed the DivX codec, configured my winamp to play all media files by default, and they place just peachy for me. Also play in PowerDVD though a *little* of the picture quality is lost.

If we're discussing something to play tracks on, on your computer then I'll definitely second the Winamp recommendation. It's awesome.If you mean the small thing that goes in your pocket, I have a 2GB Philips Jukebox... it needs musicmatch to put files on it which personally, I hate, so... I'm not sure I'd recommend it really.

I get nagged too. Truth be told I probably spend on average 8-10 hours, but not non-stop. I do leave the house occasionally! But I speak to most of my friends online 'cos many don't live close enough to just go out and see, I have games, I co-run a couple of websites... but yeah most of the time I sit here & do *bottom* all.

Some of those images are stunning. I particularly like the unes under 'stock' - I love photographs of landscapes and nature.

Personally, I've never tried one of the "Download the software and upload to your webspace" forums - I go for the ones that are already built, you just ake it how you want - and I use http://www.zifboards.com/ for mine - it's free. There's also https://invisionpower.com/ which is the paid version with more features.

The tree was moving at the time - and I also don't have the steadiest of hands, hence the fact that the branches look blurred. Perhaps I should have changed the settings to Night-shoot to get the colours better... I'm still learning!

I must agree. First off - how is homosexuality contagious? You said more and more people are admitting to being homosexual. Have you ever thought that this may be because one person was brave enough to admit it, and others thought they could follow suit and be brave too? Sometimes people just need a little reassurance that they're not alone. Secondly - what you said was very rude. Some of my closest friends are homosexual and they are perfectly normal - well, as normal as it's possible for them to be, considering they're just about as crazy as myself. They're wonderfyl people - possibly some of the most wonderful people you could ever wish to meet. It's not like a disease - there's nothing wrong with them. They still breathe, laugh, cry, feel, walk, talk - just like anyone else - so what's the difference? What's so terrible about them?

One of my favourite images - well, one that's not of a person, anyway. I love photographs of landscapes etc - the effects sunlight and moonlight can have are simply breathtaking. In this picture I was trying to capture the pink in the sky, but caught part of a tree too, and when I downloaded the picture I decided I really liked the effect. The phone lines just got in the way I'm afraid. I've not enhanced the picture in any way - I rarely do, I'm terrible at image enhancement! Excuse the fact that it's huge... it was huger before I uploaded to Photobucket!

I've always loved taking photographs - when I was five years old one of my birthday presents was a film camera. It was the simplest of simple cameras - one button - to take the picture. You had the wind the film on manually, you could turn the flash on and off, and that was about it. I used to run around with the lanyard around my wrist taking pictures - I'd line my dolls and bears up on my bed and photograph them, one by one and then all together. I still have that camera - and the pictures. However, as I got older, digital cameras became more popular. I was around ten years old when my dad bought his, and it was fairly expensive - three or four hundred pounds. He wouldn't let me touch it - and I didn't want to half the time, I was terrified of breaking it. In the end I took a few pictures with it and was amazed - you could actually see the picture you'd just taken and get rid of it if it'd come out wrong! Last year - 2004 - I decided I wanted a digital camera. I go out on trips around the country to visit friends fairly often and hate having to take a film camera and waiting for ages for my dad to send loads of films off in bulk to get them developed cheaper before I could see them. Film is expensive, as is the developing - and I just wanted my pictures, so I saved up, and after some research, found a simple but decent camera, and as I was very ill then, I sent my dad out to buy it when he went out. He came home, I sat and read the instruction book and pressed buttons... and the rest, as they say, is history. The tree - the full picture. I wanted to capture the pink in the sky but caught the tree too, and I quite like the result. Yes I know I'm not the best photographer in the world... [excuse the telephone wires, they got in my way.

I have an Olympus - the label says Model no. C-310 zoom. I love it, I rarely go anywhere without it. It didn't cost as much as I was expecting actually, just over a hundred quid. It's not that fancy, it's quite basic - takes photos, downloads them to my computer quickly and simply, and it has the added bonus of taking [silent] movies too - thats all I need, really! It's smallish, silver and fairly light - the only real weight to it is the batteries!

Pepsi - Pepsi Max to be precise. Original Pepsi is too sweet and syrupy - and I don't particularly like Coke for the same reasons. However, I do like Coke&Vanilla and Coke&Lemon, and I've recently discovered Coke&Lime which is rather nice I must say.

Homosexuality. Personally, I don't see the big deal about it. It's nothing bad - it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's love between two people, end of. I'm not homosexual myself but three of my best friends - that I know of - are and they are three of the most amazing people I know and three of the most amazing people you could ever meet.I think some women are gorgeous & maybe I'd go as far as to say they're sexy, but that doesn't make me gay, nor does it make me a bad person for finding someone of the same sex attractive.It pisses me off big time when people use 'Gay' as an insult. They say it like it's a bad thing. Same with using Jew as an insult & as a Jewish person that REALLY hurts - yeah, some Jewish people are weird, alot are prejudiced, have weird ideas & the ones in the Middle East are IMO being plain bloody stupid [it's a friggin piece of land for pete's sakes! *glares* ] but being Jewish doesn't make me a bad person, nor does it give anyone the right to use 'Jew' as an insult.Love is love, be it between a man and a woman, a woman and a woman, a man and a man, a dog and a dog, a cat and a dog, a giraffe and an elephant, it's love, and love isn't immoral, love is what is expected of us as humans, it is expected of us that we love and we live in peace, and if a woman feels that she loves another woman rather than a man, does that really change her from a human to another species of something?I think not.

There's no Netscape option! I use Netscape. I've only ever used Netscape and Internet Explorer, but of the two I definitely prefer Netscape - Internet Explorer really gets on my nerves, and when I first got my laptop and didn't have Netscape installed, I hated it - I was forced to use Internet Explorer or just not browse at all and using it made me realise just how much I dislike it intensely. I can't really explain my hatred for it - I just don't like it at all!

Uhm - I'm not too sure I really understand. Someone hit me if I'm wrong or congratulate me if I'm right [i'm not blonde, just stupid!] If I want to have my website hosted, I'd have to post here and gain credits - which would like money pay for my hosting...? And then each day I lose a credit and have to post more to keep it up...? I'm not too good at posting at new forums
