Has anyone played this game (besides me, of course LOL)???The game is really simple, or at least it seems that way. You basically use the control sticks (both of them at the same time) to move this little green guy who's pushing around a ball of junk you collect. It does sound simple, I know... but you have to meet a certain size requirement for many levels. You can only pick up certain items based on what your katamari's size is, and you can lose items if you're not careful. The game has a really cool soundtrack with a variety of song styles. Even my mom liked the music LOLKatamari Damacy has always carried a price tag of about $20 (US), so don't think that it's a low price because no one plays it. Considering the cost, you should definitely buy it!!! It's really addicting... you will get hooked after playing a few times!!!

What Is The Best Adventure Game For This Year ?
Luna Dragon replied to arab200's topic in Computer Gaming
I'm going to say the Fullmetal Alchemist game... mainly because I'm a fan of the show, and I also like the battle system even if it's slightly complicated. I'm just waiting for FFXII and KH2 to be released -
Does Anyone Play Pokemon? *not A Joke* ^^^^^^
Luna Dragon replied to jwcgator's topic in Computer Gaming
Game Boys are really fragile??? I still have a second generation GB - black casing, monochromatic screen,... and BULKY!!! And it still works - go figure. But if you're going to play Pokemon, you have to get the Game Boy version so you can take it with you wherever you go. If you happen to get hooked on the game, you're not going to like sitting at your desk and thinking about what Pokemon formation you should have - you'd be better off sitting there PLAYING the game and trying different groups of Pokemon to see what actually works!!! (Trust me... I played Pokemon in high school for that very reason... and yes, I was playing during school hours LOL) -
XIII is cel-shaded 3D graphics, which gives it the appearance that it's a really well-drawn cartoon!!! Not exactly old school, but certainly a different flavor of eye candy when playing the game. Somewhere on the internet is a 2D version of Grand Theft Auto 3. Someone went through and remade the whole game to look like it's an NES or SNES game!!! LOL I've got to find the URL for that and try playing. If you want old school gaming, there's a few titles on the market that are old school games on newer devices. Nintendo re-released a few of its NES games for the GBA, you can find the classic Final Fantasy games on PS, Atari titles have shown up in a few places, and you can even get the entire Sonic The Hedgehog and MegaMan collections for... crap, I think you can get them both for GameCube, but I'm not entirely sure. Then again, forget game remakes and just look for an NES or Genesis on Ebay or something, and then just buy a variety of games!!! You're probably not going to find old school graphics on new games, primarily because game makers are trying to make games seem more and more realistic. Therefore, your best bet is to look for old games or search for third party remakes on the net.

Fullmetal Alchemist On PS2: Good Or Bad? ..and the Broken Angel
Luna Dragon replied to Subaru's topic in Computer Gaming
I've played a demo of the game, which was included with an issue of Official Playstation Magazine. The gameplay is similar to Kingdom Hearts in that you aren't transported to another realm when entering a battle. Also, you can transmutate certain objects to make them available as weapons in battle. As far as the story is concerned, you don't get much of a taste from playing a demo. I definitely believe you should check out reviews for the game at well-known gaming sites, and maybe even go to a rental store and rent FMA for a few days. You'll get a better idea of whether or not it'll make a good addition to your collection. -
20 Years From Now... Where do you see humanity?
Luna Dragon replied to Kyle Perkins's topic in Science and Technology
Hopefully, we would've colonized Mars so that our ever-growing population could split up and live on two planets (maybe a summer home and winter home for the wealthier folk???). Maybe we'll find signs of life on Mars, and we'll befriend the little green men living there... okay, I'm only being half-serious. Nonetheless, if there are other living beings in the universe, I hope we don't kill them off to take their resources, that we align with them for a greater good for all. If they have more advanced technology, the only way we could improve ourselves would be to learn from them and not steal from them. -
To beat Sephy, you should at least be Level 75 or higher, but it's still difficult. I was reading about the battle in the KH guidebook, and it looks like you'll have your work cut out for you. So far, I think the hardest battle for me was the Riku battle at Hollow Bastion, just before Sora goes MIA... (don't want to spoil anything... LOL) Riku is really quick on his feet, and even trickier once he uses magic!!! I think the easiest battle was against the large Ursula - I just swam around and let Donald and Ariel do the beating!!! I swam in for the final hit... that was the best battle!!! LOL

Tiger Unleashed! The next Mac OS is coming...
Luna Dragon replied to Brian1405241474's topic in Websites and Web Designing
That's basically my plan - get a new Mac (preferably a new iMac or Powerbook) to get Tiger. Panther doesn't work as well as it should on my G3 iMac (which is about 4 years old), and I reformatted the hard drive recently just to get more space. I really want Tiger for the little tools in Dashboard... not necessarily the weather tool, but the iTunes widget looks cool!! I doubt I'd use GarageBand much except to fiddle around, so I probably won't be using the iLife suite to its full potential LOL -
I believe Rockstar Games is going to release a PC version of GTA:SA like they released a version for GTA:VC. Just for the record, I'm a girl... and yes, I've played both VC and SA. I like how SA is set up more like an RPG, with the stats that you can alter based on your gameplay. I like VC's radio stations better, but then again I'm a lazy bum who'd rather run around the city than try to pull off a carjacking!!! LOLA downside of having the stats is that you have to feed yourself to replenish energy... there goes my money which was going to be used for other things!!! At least you can swim, though... I hated falling into the water in VC and then dying. And even though I'm a girl, I have no problem with killing CPU females - they're all just trashy little.. um.. street walkers, yeah!!! LOL

I used to play Pokemon, but now it seems like they're trying anything to keep the franchise alive. How many different variations of the colors Red, Blue, Yellow and Green are they going to use for the Game Boy titles??? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing through Red and Blue and even working on Stadium. Having the Pokemon evolve after a given number of levels was a pretty good incentive to level-up your pokemon. However, the makers are stretching the series to the point where it's the same game but with different names. -
Okay, I've got to be the uber-nerdy one here and ask about Tetris. My question to everyone is this: what versions of Tetris have you played, and of those, which one remains your favorite???The classic version of Tetris is quite addicting, and it's my favorite way to kill time because I can easily get a high-scoring game. I think Tetrisphere (N64) was a unique twist, with all of the pieces wrapping around a sphere (and if you can figure out how it's physically possible, kudos to you). Tetris Worlds (PC and PS2) has a few more variations, with scoring based on how you complete certain tasks (for example, you get points if you can clear a row on a certain line, etc.). Tetris 2 (NES and Game Boy) was a little too much like playing Dr. Mario, so it's not exactly my favorite incarnation. Honestly, my favorite version would have to be Tetris Worlds because of the variations and the extra features that aren't a part of previous Tetris games.

Obesity Is Not Actually As Bad Whoa
Luna Dragon replied to l337 Nurse Pedestrian's topic in General Discussion
Basically, stored fat is unused energy. That's not going to kill you at all. However, foods with high fat content tend to have high amounts of cholesterol (which builds up in your arteries and stuff) which will kill you. Before it kills you, it will reduce the rate at which blood flows through your body, and blood carries oxygen throughout your system. Without oxygen, you'll feel tired. If you're tired, you're not going to run a mile to burn off the stored fat. -
LOL I think all of my coworkers use MySpace, but it was one of my online friends who had told me about the site so I joined. Currently, most of my friends are/were coworkers. I need to work on my layout, so I think I'll be referencing the links provided in previous posts within this topic. You can check out what little I've done by going to https://myspace.com/browser (but no promises that I'll add you as a friend... sorry!!!)

It's not that difficult to play, but it's also not that easy. I like how the battles are set up, where you fight on the main screen and earn bonuses based on what you pick up. The storyline is really cute, and I think the Disney elements balance out the more serious aspects which are present in a Final Fantasy game. The combination is perfect, making the game fun to play (but not sugary-sweet) and dramatically powerful (tapping into your emotions and keeping you interested until the end). I'm not done with the game yet, though... I bought it as a GH title a couple of months ago and haven't been able to set aside enough time for it.
