  1. 128MB Flash Voyager USB 2.0 Flash Memory Drive I love the ram but i havent tested it but i have used the kingston 512Mb gold flash drive and it is fast and very roomy
  2. i use SuSE 9.2 YAY but dont be afraid to try another distro and there is more of a choice out there just make sure you use another computer that you dont mind loosing stuff on it or another hard drive that you can boot off and make sure you unplug the one with windows on it as i found out linux seems to like windows a little too much that it smoothers it and i cant get my windows back up again or a partition table would be missplaced all sorts of errors when windows and linux collide... well that kinda defeats the dot be afraid but hey ..... doh well any was inportant thing is have fun and there are many (many * googleplex) ppl out there willing to help an n00b like me and you YAY!! Doh also forgot to mention live linux version that you dont need to intall it here is my fav Puppy linux: * Puppy will boot off a minimum PC with 586 CPU and 32M RAM. * Puppy will easily install to USB, Zip or hard drive media. * Booting from CD, Puppy will load totally into RAM so that the CD drive is then free for other purposes. * Booting from USB, Puppy will greatly minimise writes, to extend the life of Flash devices indefinitely. * Puppy will be extremely friendly for Linux newbies. * Puppy will boot up and run extraordinarily fast. * Puppy will have all the applications needed for daily use. * Puppy will just work, no hassles. also it is great if you have a cd burner you can install programs directly on the cd or if you have a cd-rw you can unintall stuff it is great stuff i would give it a look over
  3. Alienware is a good company, Their laptops are down right awsome although i am led to beleve that they have a slight chance to overheah or you get a really hot lap after using one, Withe the amount of features they offer with their laptop is good but like Poison_the_well said you can find better, i had a small look and i found explosive proof laptops to laptops that are titium cased (very shiny) but you can find a better deal elseware Some sites i found powernotebooks More powerful notebooks ooooh 64-bit laptops ^.^ im sure you can find what you are after if you look in google
  4. Super mario All stars was im my opion the best i was like 4 games in one and besides that you could play agaist a friend wooot, such were the days where companys worked on the story more than the graphics lol for the NES i loved the first game we got Tennis i still love that game and for the classic computer it wouls have to be Stunts
  5. fallout 1 was a cool game but i found it too easy i wish it also had some sort of multiplayer aspect as it would be fun to shoot stuff up with a mate in the post-nucear setting ...i played fallout tactics it was also rather boring ... i fear i had too much hope for the game

  10. WOW .... well why dont you have a go at building your own super computer a beo-wulf cluster YAY!!! Beo-Wulf Cluster Servers i wanna make one with micro-itx mobos for 3d art network rendering although im sure there will be other uses... Why dont they stop making faster computers and giving the ppl what they really want ... a way to download porn faster .... lol j/k
  11. lol funny story but lighting still would hit the cable underground if it is earthedwireless isnt really good for games because of the lag in the network unless you have one of those cool dual channel wireless connections. Wireless can reach pretty far and you can make an antenna out of and tin can (cantenna) that can reach upto 150m i memory serves me right becase i found that in most wireless networks the antenna the most expencive partnextime you could try placing a metal sheath other the cat5 cable and earth that to protect the cat5 by catching the lighting before it hits the cable.... make sure it is earthed correctly though
  12. I like using SuSE 9.2 it is rather big about a 4.7gig full install but it comes with everything. if you are starting out in linux i reccomend SuSE that or redhat and both of wich have good readme's and tutorials on how to use their systemSuSEPros: Simple to setup (everything prettymuch is preconfigured)comes with everything (except 3d Nvidia drivers!!!)can repair from the cd/dvdhas alot of server programs (pr0-version)comes on one neat dvd YAY!! Cons:is annoying to install non SuSE marked RPMSis rather big..... well that is how i begain learning-----------------------------------------------------------------YAY.... ~.~"-desu
