P2P programs(merged) What P2P program are you using?
DonTravage replied to prolifik's topic in Computer Networks
I find one of the best to use is iMesh,Although it comes with spyware (LAME!), i haven't noticed a depreciation of internet speed, loading times etc. It was the first peer-to-peer program, and it is damn fast. Other than that, i use azureus for my torrents. Average download speed is 50 Kbps on a 512Kb connection, dependant on seeds and peers. Bittorrents are definately the best for albums/videos, but all the sites are rapidly being sued and closing, http:// http://best-vpn.reviews/ http://forums.xisto.com/ is one of the best out there. -
There is another way to bypass, although it doesn't work with all systems (on my school pc's it does ): 1) Find the site you cannot access due to the filter on the connection 2) Visit http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ 3) On the 'domain explorer' tab, enter the 'domain' of the site (just remove the '; at the start) 4) A page will open with all the information about the site, including the ip address 5) Copy and paste that ip address into the firefox (hint, hint ) explorer bar 6) HURRAH! (I would use telnet for this, but alas, the school has blocked the use of command prompt )

Need Help, Desktop On Xp System Behaves Funny

In have a similar problem, I found the best solution is to startup as normal, and then logoff, and log back on again (without shutting down the pc). My theory is that the startup from logon runs a different script thingy, and it stops my explorer crashing. If you cant click on 'start', press ctrl-alt-delete and choose 'logoff computer' from the 'shutdown' tab. -
If i am not mistaken, fonts are easy to download (not create), http://www.1001freefonts.com/ Just go on there, find one you like, and then download the .zip and extract to your C:\Windows\Fonts directory, then you can use it in most text editors (and photoshop). Not sure of the fuctionality in html code though.

From what ive heard, godaddy is supposed to be the cheapest one, but unless your interested in a hosting deal that's tied in with a domain name, there isn't much difference in price, services and quality (cheaper ones may have pop-up banners though, watch out for them.)

For the best features with music, video and the like, try winamp: http://www.winamp.com/ (you may want to change the default skin, it look pretty bland) My Skin: Has everything you need, but might not be the best option for video, so check out DivX Player

Ye, i saw the game on tv, and it seems like a good concept, but whether they will take the "free" part of "freerunning" into consideration is another matter. Me and my friends are "parkour" beginners, and it would be a shame to see the game making you pick up power ups and collecting squirrels or something. But the signs point to a semi-shoddy release, im afraid. (They had to make all the characters the same height due to the way the moves are done with the buildings, step 1 in a makeshift tony hawk's methinks )

EDIT: A check 5 minutes later reveals that i have "1337" MB. Not only is this a whole hotmail account (old-styleee) improvement, i now have a nice 1337 account!!!
