My friend took about 13 dollars for a website for a cs clan. Try to take 100 dollars or 150 dollars for everything. I have installed a alpha version of the longhorn. It had a black gui and very nice document folders but it had some problems with drivers but i think it is like that only because it is in an alpha stage.

The website is using a font that is in the banner for the headings but i dont know how to make the people see that font not everyone have the font. The font is a pixel font I will try to change it but you know we work with gangsta rap so the only options is a grafitti font or a pixel font but grafitti fonts is for headings. And i will make a background pic soon.

You could start to design your website in photoshop on a document wich is 800x600. First you should use layers and dont color them so much only have it solid. For every layer when you want to color it use blending opitions and if you want to add details use another layer. Then you should slice the website up into slices so everything is ok. The save for web then select html and pictures. Use medium quality so it will not take so much place and is easy to load. In dreamweaver use an iframe if you want it easy to add information if you dont know php. very easy

you could try to go to zymic.com he got free templates all are very well designed. some of them you got the psd then you can redisgn and then send him a email then he say to you if you could say that you have designed the template. He also got tutorials for templates without slicing.

the banner is good but i think you should relief in the sides it make the banner ugly and the blood should be done with two or three brushes one for the blood and one for the highligts and one for the shadows try to use a tutorial at good-tutorials for water and then make a layer for color so it will color every thing to red it is very good but the color shuld be applied only on the blood drops

3dstudiomax or Maya when it comes to characters. Animation should be done in Poser.Bruce or bryce i dont remember the name there you should design the landscape. You will also find rhino and softimage. the best thing is to tryout and use the tutorials before you go and buy the software.
