for animation, I don't know since I don't work with animation, but for subsurface modeling I would recomend only Wings 3D - easy, clean and fast... best results... I was working with 3ds max, but compare with Wings, same things took 2 times more in 3ds! If you are getting better you can even beat lightspeed while modeling superb virtual mirror, great tweak mode, and many, many, many other features makes it my favorite application for modeling... It's also good for beginning... many of my friends started from it...

I know that there are few VR's running on this engine, also some military applications, but I think that this would be first game on that engine... Also still there isn't any release date... this will still take some time...

Just tryied it... still nothing... ...But I observed that this is not only problem with changing quota limit but also with creating account with it... I tryied to create new account and set quota while creating it, but when I went to accounts page, there still was: "No Ftp Accounts have a quota set." and both accounts have set: "unlimited" quota... any more sugestions? I realy want to use this feature...

For linux there is also [RipperX], as I see you don't said what system you have, so this is fair to post also some alternatives...

I understand your point, but maybe there is a solution?What if edit button would affect hosting credits (changing them to value that it would be like it would be post just like after editing), of even using it would cost some hosting credits?Then if there would be need to use it, there would be chance, but also no one would use it without thinking...how about that? please think about that...

Hi... isn't this strange, that I can't see "edit" button under my posts? something changed? I had to add post in FTP topic since I wasn't able to see "edit"... I'm using FireFox, but this shouldn't make any diference, yesterday before I get my hosting package, everything was as usual... do you have any idea what is wrong? maybe I skiped some news? oh - I forgot... just to make sure - I also cleared Cookies, Cache and Saved Form Information... also was trying setup this at the morning and checked it now... still nothing... oh... and I wasn't hitting back in browser, just "Go back" button in cPanel...

Hi...Yesterday I recieved my package 2 and I started making of some cleanings and organizing all things... I created addictional "nelle" ftp account... and now I want to change quota limit for that ftp account...I'm pressing on quota button close to this account in FTP manager, then window shows up, I'm entering 15mb and pressing change, then after little moment I see something like: "The FTP account nelle was successfully modified with a new quota of 15 Megabytes" but when I'm pressing back, I see: "No Ftp Accounts have a quota set." and when I'm going back to account quota setting, there is again unlimited... I'm going something wrong, or what? Maybe I should enable it somwhere or just this is usual, and everything works fine, just gives bad information? I'm looking forward for some help...PS.: besides this small thing this everything is just great I just love it keep going

I think Fantasy RPG like Diablo, Dungeon Siege, Lineage and Neverwinter Nights can be placed in Medieval, since this is time of Magic and Sword... anyway thanks for you opinion...PS.: thats why coments are needed - what you choose and if it is real/fantasy, since we can have fantasy RPG in WWII realies...for example Arcanum can be asigned to WWI (look at tohose planes... that's time they came from...)

Hi...This isn't exactly news, since it already has few months, but... some time ago I consider ZSNES - exelent Super Nintendo emulator to be dead... I looked at It in September 2004 and there was'n any relese since Jul 14th, 2002 and any mesage since Aug 11th, 2003 so I sotped looking at their site... few days ago I saw nice active in begining of new year - from Dec 25th, 2004 to Jan 20th, 2005 there was 3 relases! If someone thought this project was dead, I inform, that it isn't... currently we can have ZSNES in version 1.42 for DOS/WIN/LIN with many, many improvements in compare with old 1.36 relase from year 2002... I think this is great info for fans of oldshool jRPG's like Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Lufia, Final Fantasy or great Chrono Trigger

In my opinion XBOX is much PC-like, and many games that are published for XBOX also earlier of later shouws up also on PC (those, that I'm interested in) but for PS2 there are many (again like above) premium games (like Final Fantasy X and X-2) that won't show up on PC, so as Game Console, my vote goes to PS2... and he done like he said...

Hi...I'm woundering if those systems can be used together... my first impression is that not, since both offers "Role-Based Access Control" (and other things) so this one (at least this one) would probably colide... but I'm not so sure... can anyone confirm that? If they colide, which one is better? Hi to all...Sometimes shows up that we need, what we though we would never need... and so happend to me...I need to get some CAD application, it must be free (best Open Source, I'm just pasionat of O.S. idea ) and work under my Linux Box... I know that there is QCAD, but I wan't to ask if there is anything else? I'm new to CAD systems, so please tell me something about eventual other CAD applications... I would be thankful...

hahaha, Vagodeoz, I would keep in mind you agreed to be a beta tester, but do you realize, that this is REALY borring and doesn't looks like many thinks? You get game - and save from one part... and you have to play it many, many, many times and report any little thing you would find... this is borring, and when as person working with game, you get your copy of "gold master" (final) release, it doesn't make fun... it's hard... you don't have fun from playing game you made, since you know it well... so... you still are offering beta testing? if yes - I would think about that - there is never too many beta-testers ... but actualy I'm on very early stage of design, it isn't even development yet...

I would add that Slackware became a Distro of year 2004 at LinuxQuestions, so this is something. Also is keeping in first 10 on DisroWatch for many, many years... And there is very good and large repository ([Linux Packages] on which you can get all needed software, best way is to upgrade from command line, there is also command line frontend to managing packages, where are listened all istalled .tgz files, there is also Swaret and SlapGet (upgrade / net-install utilites) and graphical frontends (GTK+ and QT) for all those tools (download them separetly, not included in distro, since they are just some eye-candy)... In my opinion managing Slackware packages is easier than any other, and it uses gziped tar files, so creation of packages is also very intuitive... But at the beginnig maybe you should try Fedora Core 3? (or even beta of 4...)
