Urgent Help Required! ...want logo for my site
firedoor replied to skpanda's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
i know you've found a design you like but i love messing around in photoshop to see what i can do so went ahead and made one anyway, nice site by the way. -
60GB which is more than i need as i usually format a few times a year so that my pc doesn't slow down. And as what i mostly have on my PC are images i store most of them on photobucket or gmail anyway. I'd never use up that much space anyway, i don't do piracy.

Kind of you to offer but as i said i just like to mess around with photoshop to see what i can do, i will however join your site as i'm a big stargate fan (but it's the only sci-fi i like) but only as a member.

I suppose most of you have heard of TFLO which was going to be the second mmorpg on the xbox after phantasy star online. Well i've just read some news that even though it is still doubtful that the xbox verison will be released (which is a shame as it was rumoured that there would be no monthly payments) they are still talking about a ps2 or pc deal. Bad move i say as on the xbox there is not many other mmorpg's to contend with and with no monthly payment i thin they would clean up. However by moving it to the pc i think they've lost that. Well thats my opion anyone else have something to say about this?

there is to a certian extent ragnarock online (15 day free trial) which i found was really good. It was sort of like pokemon only more violent and medievil. But don't judge it just for that. The only problem was that i joined an american frind on the american servers and then some british friends joined on the british server and in the end we took about 2 hours trying to find each other before we realised this.

yeah luckly i still have the disks to most of them so i played them now and again (which as you say due to my proccessor speed can be difficult sometimes) but your right about the text based games, for some reason they completly slipped my mind, i'm proberbly just from the generation that doesn't believe anything without graphics can be a game. We are truley a shameful generation.

thanks to my fubar graphics card i've never eally been able to play this with the the real graphics, and there i've only played the oringal non-patched version. But i've goto say my favorite map is midway as it has everything on it, ships submarines tanks planes jeeps artillery. Followed closley by arnhem simple becuase you get to parachute in.

i use photoshop for quite alot of artwork, for this is draw out in sketch the items untill i have everything perfect, then i use a fine point ink pen to go over the lines and erase the pencil drawing uneath. just scan it onto my pc using a really high dpi (usually about 600 or so) this meathod i find mean i don't need to use the pen tool to add bold lines either. Yet ti's still easy to manipulate. A tablet can be useful as well but tricky and you still get those annoying lines right across the the page when you jog (like when you jog your mouse) the only problem is that if i really need high detail a 9600 dpi image is roughly 3 or 4 GB.

i was just wondering if anyone had played any of the old adventure games, mostly the legendary lucasarts click and move games such as, monkey island I and II indina jones and the fate of alatntis/holy grial, sam & max, or day of the tenticle. I used to love playing those as a kid, and they have spawned into some new great adventure games like Grim Fandango or the updated monkey island and broken swords.

morrowind was the first rpg i played and i don't think i went outside for about 2 weeks. talk about addictive, but i wonder if any of you have seen the screenshots for the elder scrolls IV, the graphics actually look life like, yet the game is supposed to be twice the size of the orignal. The idea that the games never ends was a good move and certianly makes the game worth buying, but once you've completed the game you must be so powerful that there really isn't a challenge anymore.

nah i think recon's better, i know that both games are by the same devleoper but the gameplay is alot diffrent. For a start most last man standing games i've played on live have lasted barely a few minutes on r6 while they last alot longer on recon. But at the same time recon is still as exciting as r6 while still providing that longitivity. But i suppose i've always been more suited to the recon style of gameplay rather than the more fast paced games like halo 2 r6 or unreal champ.
