On my website they main types of advertsiments are about google because the sites subject is internet marketing. These ad's are not actually by google, but from people that are advertising google related websites. I'm also seeing advertsing from overture, and general seo companies.
-
So far the click-through rate is good, a nice improvement in my earnings.
-
You've named a number of times that you've been scammed, but thats because your looking for an easy answer. As for studiotraffic, I haven't tried but the payouts seem to be close to nothing ($0.10 a day?). I bet few if any people are making any real money from it. On the other hand researching and investing in reputable firms such as google or yahoo is far more likely to earn you money. Yes, there is a risk, but I have invested heavyly in both overture and adwords, and have earnt back all my money.

Can anyone else see my ads? Could be something to do with the browser but when I view my page they are visible right above the Previous Posts box. Maybe its because it blends in so well. And yes, adsense can give some weird results sometimes, but its still the best ppc program around. I don't know of any other program that pays out as much to publishers as adsense.
-
Google just keep adding to the adsense program, two new features this time. They have just added a new type of advertisement called adlinks, just added it on to my site and it looks great. Tell me what you think of the placement http://onlinemarketer.blogspot.de/. Also they now allow three separate methods of getting paid see here https://support.google.com/adsense/?answer=15818

Well, I know that some publishers have had there accounts terminated but that happens sometime on all networks. It is most likely a mistake on there part scamming you would only decrease there profit in the long term, so it would be illogical. Personally I have found adsense highly profitable and reliable but yahoo's still worth a try.
-
There's only one way to find out and thats to test it. I'll put it on one of my sites for a few days and see if theres any change in profit, although adsense has been very good for my sites.
-
Looks like yahoo's releasing a new contextual advertising program which is meant to compete with adsense. The new domain is has just gone up. As soon as the program is active i'm going to sign up. Its about time that there was a better option then adsense.

I couldn't agree more, while this is an extreame case it is a fact that America is the most litigious society on earth and this is a growing problem. Many middle eastern countries also have this weak mentality, they blame all their problems on the west, instead of religous ignorance and then decide to kill thousands based upon their perceptions.

Economics: Free Market Or Otherwise?
webguide replied to MajesticTreeFrog's topic in General Discussion
The way people act is human nature, so the society's/cultures on earth represent human nature. All i'm doing is reflecting how these societies behave today, your talking about how you like them to be. Me, i'm just saying I like the way the world works already. -
This is a quick 30 min site http://onlinemarketer.blogspot.de/, I altered the template to improve the design. I plan to regularly update the site, tell me what you think.

Paid And Free Se Submissions Explain/Compare PaidFree SE Submissions
webguide replied to Ploforia's topic in Search Engines
Go for the free submissions. Google is the web's biggest search engine with almost 50% of search traffic moving through it and as far as I know they only offer free submission. The only search engine worth submitting to is yahoo. -

That is an abstract solution that many would like, but is just wishful thinking. Its just not how human nature works. -

Economics: Free Market Or Otherwise?
webguide replied to MajesticTreeFrog's topic in General Discussion
So whats the answer? Everyone tries to point out the problems with capitalism but no one has a solution. Capitalism will always rule as it reflects the way people think about life. -
Thats just an excuse. I'm part of a small minority and know that people perceive me in a certain way, the only way to fix that is by breaking the streotype. If people don't want to thats fine as long as they don't whine about it being everyones fault but their own. Blaming other people has become an intergral part of america which has allowed it to become the most litigous country on earth.
-
I have noticed that there is a growing trend towards people blameing their own failings on society. Whether these people are alcoholics, gamblers or even killers. Everything is always someone elses fault. The above things I mentioned are not illnesses but weaknesses and people just dont seem to understand the difference. Has anyone else noticed this?

My Theory Of Betting what can make you stop?
webguide replied to harriko's topic in General Discussion
Taking risks is part of human nature nothing can stop that. The trick is taking intelligent risks. Weak individuals find this diffecult to do, then end up calling gambling an "illness" to hide their own failings. -
Economics: Free Market Or Otherwise?

It cannot be changed. Whatever a society chooses to call their government, communist or capitilist, people always behave in the same way. Survival of the fittest. -
Economics: Free Market Or Otherwise?

I agree that once people get to the top of the food chain it becomes easier to stay there but in my opinion that's a great reward for working intelligently and gives everyone an incentive for beating the odds. -
Economics: Free Market Or Otherwise?
webguide replied to MajesticTreeFrog's topic in General Discussion
Yes, there will always be people that are on the bottom of the food chain, but thats life no matter how unfair it sounds. Thats why all the communist countries our so completely corrupt, there is always someone on top. In the case of communist societies they provide the illusion of a fair system in order for the leaders to prosper. People that simply work hard don't get to the top, people that work intelligently do. -
The reason why these religions are against each other is because their scripture tells them to. All the major religions where built with hatred for other religions. This is what allowed religous leaders (the people that wrote these books) to control their people.

Economics: Free Market Or Otherwise?

There is no such thing as a good communist country, well none that I would want to live in anyway. If you can think for yourself in a capitalist country then you will become very successful or else you will lose bigtime. This is the reason why the US has one of the highest poverty levels of any "first world" country, but also some the richest individuals in the world. It is survival of the fittest, which I wholeheartedly support.
