You MIGHT Be Able To... you Need 6 Wires For an RJ-45 Line...I Am Not Sure If The Telephone wire Will Handle The Transer tho... I Guess its worth A try

Yes If You Are Behind a Firewall You Need to use Passive. You Might Also Want to Check If Your Port Is correct... I Know In SmartFTP You hae to Manually Set What Port To Connect to.

Well I Would Recommend Starting With Suse 9. You Can Download The OS And Install It To The Computer Its self. Or You Can Get A " CD Based " Version of it... where the OS runs off of a CD. https://www.suse.com/ You Can Download The CD Here. I Would Recommend NOT STARTING WITH RedHat.. I Tried to.. and Its Not Easy... atleast for me

[connection Sharing] The Strangest Thing I've Foun
Homer replied to brouzine's topic in Computer Networks
I Had This Same Problem With My Network.. A XP Machine, And 2 Win @K Machines.Setup a DHCP Server, And Let it Configure The IPs. ( You Can Find Them On Google)Make Sure Your Network Setting Are Correct. If IE Opens And It Shows The " Page Cannot Be displayed" Click The Link that says " Detect My Network Settings ". And That Will Configure The Computer To Work With Your Network.I Too Had a Slow Down Of My connection (56K). This Problem I Have Not figured Out Yet. When I Do I will Post Again -
You Know how some sites have Those Little Icons Before There Url? Well I Am Going To Tell You How To Make One :-D Step 1 You Need A 16*16 Image.. You Can Use One You Have Or Make One Of Your Own. Step 2 Make The Image A Favicon. Click Here. Step 3 After You Make The Image A .ico Put It In your "Home Folder" On your Website... The same Place as your Index. Step 4 Then You Open Your Index.html... In A HTML Editor, And Insert This Code In Your <head> tags: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon"> change The favicon.ico to The Name of the .ico File That you Made.
