I know Visual Basic and it's alright. Good starting Language. And I'm learning C++. They're a lot alike whether you'll admit it or not.

Check out Foldershare they have a free thing and if it's still how it used to be it's pretty much the full version without unlimited libraries. (You'll see what I mean if you get it.) If both computers have a connection to eachother via the internet. (Might work just though a LAN I never tried) Then you can set it up to keep everything syncronized for you.
