  1. Well the game was pretty ok. The gameplay was nice, a little confusing right out of playing Starcraft though. The graphics weren't very good, but the gameplay makes up for it.Yeah. Didn't play any of the later CC series though. How are they?
  2. Anyone here heard of Dream Theater?Progressive, Metal, cool, yeah. My favorite album has to be Awake. Yeah. Pretty cool. I didn't get a chance to see the new DVD though. =[
  3. Rap music is something we really don't like looking at, I think. But I prefer it in Korean, if that makes any sense. It sounds much funnier. Like this: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  4. Dream Theater - Space Dye VestAn awesome song. This song by itself nearly made me a fan of... what's his face. Was it Kevin Moore? Or Derek Sheridan? One of those old Dream Theater keyboardists.
  5. I started on Photoshop, and I really didn't try Macromedia Fireworks. No time to really get used to it. Photoshop, I think can do a lot of things, but I really can't make a judgement. To each his own I suppose.
  6. My favorite Final Fantasy was... the fifth one.Having the main character named Butz was just... too much for me.
  7. All I have is the first one, but I think it was pretty well done. But I think it was a bit short, and really a lot of button mashing. But still, it's an enjoyable game. =]How does the first compare with the others?
  8. Soul Caliber II for me. It's just cool. The graphics look nice, and I look at the little demonstrations when I'm bored. heh.
  9. In response to your first sentence. I agree with it. I am from S. Korea, and there is very strict gun control there. Even policemen rarely carry guns. Our citizens don't really make a fuss over the need or the right to carry a gun. Possession of an illegal weapon, and then you're just in jail and in S. Korea there is no such thing as bail. We even live right next door to N. Korea, where there is a communist army over 3 million strong, and the S. Koreans don't really cry for the right to possess a gun. Surely you would need a gun when the red army is marching down Seoul more urgently than when a single person who may or may not be in possession of a lethal weapon threatens a loved one. So America really doesn't make much sense to me. A valid question. If in that situation, I doubt I would have the courage to attack another human being with a deadly weapon, even to protect a loved one. And I doubt many people would. Maybe a baseball bat. Just because a shot kills, and a person can probably take a couple of twacks with a large wooden stick. Yeah I know it isn't personal. =] This exchange of ideas is good really, it reminds you that there are different people out there, with different backgrounds and different opinions. Thanks for your complete response.
  10. And without gun control what would keep people who are not law-abiding citizens from obtaining guns? What if that psychopath you mentioned about had a gun, thanks to the lack of sufficient controls on guns?I think we both agree that limitations and restrictions should be put on guns, judging from your post above. But I still believe that a lot of people are underestimating the destructive power that a gun has. One shot will kill you. This isn't the Matrix or some action movie or game where you can get hit as many times as you want before you die. Oh well. At least we can both agree about the law-abiding citizen part.
  11. Yeah. The Gamecube really isn't a very popular system. Because it really does have a "kiddy game" kind of reputation. (Strangely that's why I got the Gamecube. Really, it's like a teddy bear complex, except with a nintendo.)I don't think the main character being a girl has a lot to do with the game not getting much respect. Maybe it has something to do with the atmosphere of the game. Yeah...
  12. I remember playing pokemon... like six years ago. I had blue version and I would battle friends at school with that and all kinds of pokemon items, like those little figurines with the flippy coin and cards.Good times, good times.Pokemon is a little older now... or I'm a little older now. Not really into Pokemon as much as six years, but cool.
  13. I'm personally from S. Korea and I'm a little against what the current >=[ COMMUNIST president is doing. He's scaring away foreign investors and the economy is in a slump. But capitalism will change to accept more socialistic reforms eventually. You know, time to take care of the people.
  14. I also wonder how this economic growth compares to the early years of the Soviet Union.Back then in the Soviet Union, they were shipping peasants from the countryside into factories, so it appeared that the Soviet Union would overtake the United States, and its yearly growth did, BUT you know, the issue with productivity. Yeah.
