Well one way you speed up your downloads is that you get a download accelerator which will find more sources which will increase your download speed. or another is that u use a download manager

well i use Windows 2000 with Nt Technology. It is pretty reliable and doesnt crash like all of those other operating systems. Also i like it because it is very simple and very easy to use.
