  1. Ares Galaxy for Music and some movie ripsAnd for those who claims that ARES has spyware , ur totally idiots , in the installation it simply asks you wether you want to Install NAVHELPER ( a ie toolbar ) or not , if you chose no ,, no spyware/adware gets installed .. i have lotsa spyware cleaners and none detected ares as malacious or anything ..even inside the program there's not even a BANNER .Azaueres ( sorry if I miss spelled it ) is awesome , really , but it HOGS slow systems ,, thanks to Java ..I switched to ABC ( much simpler , but also excellent in its own way ) it's free and open source tooand everytime and then I use E-mule .. but the speeds has been SUCKING for me for a couple of months now .

  2. thanks , I've studied Guggenheim before , but it's not really suitable for the required LAND . it needs to be more .. .scattered arround you know ? not just a big multi-floor shape .as for the other tips , thanks alot they are really helpfull but I can't see how I can link Digital Art ( which is 10-20 years old ( i think ) ) with a few thousand year old Pyramid ... maybe in the DESIGN or LOOK of the museum but not in the SHAPE or CONCEPT , dont you think ?

  3. hi , I study architecture ( 5th and Final year ) and at this term I do nothing but work on my Final Graduation Project .. which is a Digital Art Muesum ...but I am faaaaaaaaaaar away from the deadline ( 8 / 2005 ) I was wondering if anyone had any usefull resoureces ( autocad drawings / images / prespecitves or links to websites ) that might be helpful .I just want the Basic start .. i.e Zonining and stuff .. and I want to try UNUSUAL stuff .. i went to alot of libraries .. and they almost all have the same ideas and solutions ... I am trying to come out with something totally new as I think the Digital Art should be saved in something NEW ! Thanks alot .

  4. Thanks again all , this was my 2nd attempt on cartoonish mascots and stuff i rarely do such stuff , but I am glad alot of u liked it .

    @Xtron

    I use Paint Shop Pro 9.01 for still images and it comes with Animation Shop 3.11 ( for GIF animation purposes )

    the animated ones are really just a WIZARD thing in Animation Shop .

    @harriko & almoo7

    thanks but as I said before i dont like RE-EDITING what I thought was finished :P I will make notice of your suggestions in the next mascotts or whatever i am going to draw .

    btw if anyones intrested on a small simple tutorial on how to draw such things ( not that i am a PRO a all or anything but I think i know a fast way of doing so) please let me know so i can write one down .

  5. thanks alot ppl some answers and info .@ Soleq it is for personal pleasure but thanks for the suggestions , you'are correct .@ M. Earthling I actualy started it like that but it looked much like a local product mascot here , I wanted it to look a little more original .@ kaputnik Thanks for the comments , I agree with you .. will do that . but on another one I dont like to REDIT stuff :P i end up screwing it more .@ szupie I hate PhotoShop and I dont use Flash I use Swish MAX but NO this wasnt made with any of these , it was made with Corel PaintShop Pro 9.0 ( A formerly Jasc Psp 9.0 )@ OpaQue Thanks alot , yes I will smudge them a bit .. :P , btw if Xisto is ur design it's great :P@ kraizii88z Thanks I will make another one with more details , this was simply some Circles and Eclipses highlighted to give a fake depth look .@ Primius Thanks but I like to keep stuff as minimal as possible ( could be my style :P ) i dont want to add more details to the face, except fix the eyebrows .thanks alot to all of you again .

  6. according to MSDN reports , ur wrong kapuntik The purpose of this deal , other than releasing a Commercial AntiViurs program ( which will be free for the next OS users only ) Making small security patches that fixes wholes in current XP SP2 to shut ppl whining about Windows security up , and it will be released thru Microsoft Windows Update V5 ( thus freely for any Windows XP SP2 users ) .of course Windows 95 / 98 and Millenium users( especialy ME ) should either upgrade or stick that CD in thier mouths ...

  7. yes i agree but As For Microsoft Antispyware .. I've used almost all adware software until I found Giant Antispyware .. after a week .. I bought the thing and it's never left me .. it detects spyware/adware in software installation before and after they are installed and u can remove some of the adware features of the program and still enjoy the program :P it has also an excellent set of advanced features ..but a month later Microsoft buys it and released it as beta .. it's not really BETA it's just Microsoft is afraid of negative views so it left it beta until feedback is recieved .. the BETA is based on the latest version of Giant Antispywarebtw in mid 2003 Microsoft also Bought a Romanian Antivirus company . unpopular and unknown .it's LOGICAL that u will NOT find any results for Sybari antivirus cuz IT DOES NOT EXIST , they just previewed a TEchonology for microsoft , MS liked it and bought to RELEASE a new software .. .unlike the Giant case , where the software already existed .Anyways I hope this is for the good of XP and The next Windows users ... I dont really care about Symantec or Mcafee cuz I hate both ... not that thier software is weak .. but it makes my system More weaker ! I currently use Eset Nod 32 for over a year now and i haven't faced a single incdient , while it's very low on resources .

  8. hello

    Yes after the Microsoft AntiSpyware beta ( based on Giant AntiSPyware technology )
    Microsoft is going to produce its own Microsoft Antivirus software based on some company technology called "Sybari"

    on other forums , both of the Software will be optional to install in Windows Longhorn Security Center , but this is a big step as it threats Norton and Mcafee and other big players .

    story :

    Microsoft buying antivirus software firm, Sybari
    - 02.09.2005 06:08 EST by YeOldeStonecat
    "SEATTLE - Microsoft Corp. announced plans Tuesday to acquire a company whose software aims to protect corporate networks from e-mail borne threats and said it would sell a product based on the technology. The deal for Sybari Software Inc., along with word that Microsoft is gearing up to release its first set of commercial antivirus products, could hurt security companies including Symantec Corp. and McAfee Inc., whose stock prices fell." 9. emmmmicroscopic earthling ... I ment that Maxthon is the real reason why I am still using IE , I once hopped to opera because of the amazing ( back then ) TABS .. but then some pages wouldn't display correctly .. so I jumped to netscape which was my favourite ( netscape communicator 4.5 ) but then they made a new one based on java i think which was very very slow on my old pc .. so I got stuck with IE >. then I found MyIE2 ... which is now Maxthon .what I was trying to say is that I didn't experience any security issues with either IE / Opera / Netscape or even the small amount of time that I used FireFox .. but since I got VERY VERY used to Maxthon .. I tried firefox it wasnt bad for me .. but Maxthon was still more practical for me ... especialy with the implemented features ( popup blocker / ad hunter / activex /flash disabler and many others ) enabled long ago before firefox or even SP2 .So what I am saying that Is that I dont like IE because it's IE .. I like IE because it's Maxthonand i think i am going to change that banner of mine to point to MAXTHON insted of IE !

  10. At Frog

    the sidebar could be docked , the 3D windows are NOT A MUST , they are optioanl .. these are the only VISIBLE changes in longhorn ... and they are the one fastly noticeable .. i am not IT pro to tell you what really changed in Windows ... i just noticed the graphcis .. which is the most part i am intrested in since it's my only hobby ;)

    AT TATTOO

    IT"S CODENAMED longhorn ... it will be called something else on release .. Windows XP was known as " Windows Codename Whistler "before release ... so this is going to be either a XP 2 or like those *BLEEP*s at microsoft think of calling the new xbox 360 ... Windows 360 ;) lol

    but I think they will totally change the name ... i would prefer any of the following :

    OSwin

    Windows 2006

    or

    The Final Windows Operating System For The Desktop

    i think the last one is a TAD long :P

  11. as I said I would love to use a mac .. but even for the cheapest Imini i still think spending as much on upgrading my pc will make me forget about any weakness PCs might have .I mean using Linux might be risky ,but its free and ur only installing an OS and the worse that could happen is that u destroy your Windows installation , so yeah I might try linux ..but paying money for something I NEVER EVER used or tried before is completely risky .. especialy when there's no way back !btw while ur here frog after all these posts about me loving windows and you ppl hating it .. I want to try Linux myself to finaly judge for my own .my system specs : P3 1.0 ghz - 256 SDR - Geforce2MX 32 - 40 GB hard disk ( 2 partitions one for windows 10 gb and 30 gb for storage )I can't make another partition , but Can i use the 30 gb storage one ? ( it's FAT32 ) and even if i created another partion and went onI currently have a " Fedore Core " thing ( 2 or 3 cds i think ) is this a good linux distrubition ? for a beginner i mean ?thanks
