Ok, i know how to listen to files over my network, no sweat there... i just go to to teh network folder and browse the other pc's mp3 files.. Why i'm trying to do is: 1. "simultaniously" play music in boths pcs 2. Hi!!! well, my brother brought to my atention this product: Sonos: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ It allows to control music in different zone of a home network. But i oposed to it because of it's price. so i'm trying to search for altenative solutions to this problem: ÂżHow can i listen to the same music in diferent pc stations at a same time? and the other problem: ÂżHow to stream music within my wireless network? (to listen to the music i play on my pc in my boombox per say) Can anyone come out with a good idea? Well, when i started this topic Xisto had a rep system going on.. i guess some kind of abuse (described before) appeared.. and maybe that's the reason the module was taken out of the site.I'm not an active poster anymore, my time schedules are pretty tigth... but when i was an active poster, i did it for the love of helping out, and in return, many many time other helped me.. is not give to expect something back.. but if you give, you eventually get, that's how the world works.The whole rep thing was, not because i love being praised for, but because in a way, it makes you feel that your devotion is well apreciated.But hey, in the end, the people that has been helped by you recognize you your labor, so, maybe the rep module is redundant

Well not to worry, Sony bought Vegas Video.. it was developed by Sonic Foundry, and it's a great sfotware... altough i haven't proved Adobe's Premier.. but in Audio, i use Sony's Acid Pro to mix and Adobe's Audition to record.. try the trial.. in my contry, trial are mora than that thanks' to emule (i'm not sugesting anything!)

Ok, i'm using WMServer to do a local design of a cms... the chmod permissions do affect the behavior of the site, because the cms creates files in order to work properly.. if it's set a read-only, then the cms won't be able to create the files.. ->don't work properlyi'm uploading an image showing you how the read-only property appears..

Hi everyone!I've been having a localserver for quite a while.. i know that some cms's that i use requeire some folders to be set up as 777On windows that's "readable".. but the Read-Only checkbox doesn't have a check mark but a square inside it.. when i leave it blank and close the properties window... THE SAME GREEN SQUARE DOT RE-APPEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!How can i make it disappear once and for all?

I unistalled the IIS from my OS, and yes, i'm running behind a router, but i have been using it for a long time, it has never presented a problem in that issue... The loopback if i'm not mistaken is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ but if you type LOCALHOST/ then you'll get the WWW serverr taht you're runnning... the thing is.. mine's getting blocked up!!!!!.... WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jajajaja, you'll never beleive this!!!!! i followed vujsa advice (THANKS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!..o r lady??? ) and opened the port 80 in my firewall settings.. altough i DON'T USE FIREWALLS... and while writing this i remebered.. and test it out... guess waht!!!! it's running!!!!!!!!!!!! OPEN YOU'RE 80 PORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, i haven't even install apache or MySQL because Xasas or XAXM don't need to be installed for those servrs to run..... My firewall is deactivated (i don't use it, so i have open the port 80 anyways?) how can i start those from command line.. all that i know is that if a pong localhost i get response from 127.0.0.1 help!

I've been having a problem with ALL THE LOCAL SERVERS... i formated my Hd like two months ago.. and now no server works!!!!!I think something is blocking the apache and the Sql servers..I have Windows Xp Professional SP2, AVG Free antivirus, No firewall, No spyware, no Adware.. kind of insecure ain't it?please help me!i have tried XSAS, Uniserver and XA.. somthing (don't remeber)...ThanxS!

i got this answer... i'm guessing it's because my hosting credits are -11. something... i just don't want to be deleted because of having -30!!!!!!!!! Well, what can i do?, do i have to work my credits up and then do it????
