Sig and Avatar Request
chronogamer28 replied to chronogamer28's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I'm not much of a humor guy, only a few things make me laugh really hard. Do you have something in mind or a picture I could use? I have no idea. -

@ Gokul- if you could be more specific or provide some pictures of what you want, that would be helpful @ Effinella- Any particular background of picture you want me to use?@ Eric- So do you want characters (ie Neo, Morpheus, Agent Smith) or did you want something else? And BTW: i'm no good with flash or animation so sorry about the animated part :-/ -
I think that Uni.cc has more choice of which domains to choose from.

Yeah, it seems that Starter edition is good for those who have never had computers before or those who don't have that much experience with them. -
Longhorn Windows Longhorn
chronogamer28 replied to chronogamer28's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I heard that Longhorn was only delayed until 2005 because they were planning to include the WinFS system with Longhorn. Unfortunately, they couldn't get WinFS to be compatible with all of Longhorn's systems, so they had to delay it to try to make it work better between the two of them. -
OK, thanks. I'll look into it.

Actually, Ctrl V-C is not a computer command to begin with. Ctrl-X is cut, Ctrl-C is copy, and Ctrl-V is paste. Not sure if you got the command mixed up, but I hope that this will clear up some things.

I use PhotoBucket, it ain't that bad. I've had some of my friends try to upload from a host such as Bravenet or Angelfire but that didn't work so I referred them to PhotoBucket.

Well, in my general opinion, cookies can be used good or bad. The good part is that they store information such as logon usernames and passwords at certain sites so that you don't have to relog back into the site. The downside is that cookies can be used for specific ad targeting and popups and can track your data if you fill out a form. So either way, cookies can be used good or bad.

To me, Uni.cc is better and more compatible with Asta

Been noticing that Jhonny is acting like an admin going to all the boards and questioning some people's posts and their validity of their tick. No offense man, but that's my observation. -
Longhorn Windows Longhorn
chronogamer28 replied to chronogamer28's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Of course, TECHINALLY, that's not what it means downright. I'm saying 1. Thanks for posting up info 2. Being shocked at the amount of changes and new tech 3. Agreeing with him on some of the issues discussed with Longhorn. -
Some coding can be incorporated into your site to make it look a bit 'out of the ordinary' but not too much to completey besiege the visitor with animations and flashes and all that kind of stuff.

I'm pretty sure your Gmail invites respawned after a while. At least, that's what happened to me... -

No idea Jhonny, but WAN is useful if you want you have connections in multiple floors (i.e. cable modem in basement and you want to get Internet on the top floor) I still have LAN, but WAN is an option I might consider soon.

lol, I have no reason to change my IP so I'm probably not going to. Unless I'm trying to fake an identity in a game server

chronogamer28 replied to iGuest's topic in Computer Networks
I think there was a hidden fee: a setup fee to link to your site. So it's not totally 'free' -
They're not really free...
