  2. Vote please. Then post the speed of your processor. I have an Intel Pentium 4. With a processor speed of 2.4 gigs and 333 or 400?? (can't remember) front side bus.
  3. I've got gimp and I love it! I think it's probably the best free one out there. (Asides from the trial of Photoshop CS ) WOW!! 40-50 bucks!! GOOD DEAL! I don't have Photoshop CS but I wish I had it.
  4. Is it possible to change my IP? I didn't think it was but apparently you can do it without contacting your ISP. I heard you run cmd.exe, then type ipconfig/release, then close it, wait awhile the type ipconfig/renew. Is this possible? If not how can I do it, can I just unplug my modem for a day then I might have anew IP?
  5. Yeah I guess so. But hey, I never, ever post images of myself on the net! I post self portraits drawn in MS paint though, but never real pictures. And my self-portraits are a red stick man, with a hook as a hand. I'd host them myself but can't find any good free web hosts. I hope Xisto will change that.
  6. Oooohh. Cool, I noticed that three days into the Olympics. (When it comes to webpages I have no attention to detail.)I like the one with the hurdles, personally. And the last one it's cool too. I wanna see the 2006 Winter Olympics, I like the winter olympics better than the summer ones.
  7. Interesting.I just defrag all the time. But I heard there is a way to devote hard drive space to become RAM. Is this true?
  8. I guess programmar could be a part time job, as well as full-time. A typical programmer's yearly salary, according to http://www.salary.com/, is $48,247 USD (Wow! you learn something new every day!). That is the median apparently.
  9. Hey just wondering, what do you guys use for photohosting? Because I have no website I just have a Photobucket account. (Photobucket)
  10. Meh. No matter what way you slice it, I don't like cookies. Cookies are bad, very bad things, that I find terribly intrusive and invasive if abused.
  11. I likle babblefish. But Google is still tops for me!
  12. Does anyone know where I can download Frontpage 2003? I can't seem to find it anywhere!
  13. I believe some places sell cleaning kits for laptop and LCD monitors. But yes, check for cleaning instructions from your manufacturer.
  14. Well, <- snipped -> and generate Xisto some ad revenue, I click on 100 of them a day! The ads don't really bother me, i can still get around the forums fine.}
  15. does anyone know of any good php tutorials?
  16. I'm not a fan of Spybot. My favourite is Spysweeper and I swear the free version works great!
  17. Well, for any gamer using an ATI video card (Me for example), I would suggest NOT using Linux.Reason being: Poor driver support for Linux operating systems. I am quite disappointed in ATI for this, I am a strong supporter of ATI but the lack of Linux drivers is baffling!
  18. I don't wanna put anyone off getting Spybot, but I heard it IS spyware. I was considering getting it, then found Spysweeper, which I am most impressed with! Is it true that Spybot is spyware?
  19. Hmmm... I agree I like the Intel reaction better... as long as my computer didn't fry! Plus, ok, I admit it, I'm biased because I have an Intel P4.
  20. Ok, a good FREE spyware/ adware remover, scanner is Webroot's Spysweeper! It worked for me, and now I'm happy *bottom* can be, because my RAM is no longer a slave to the spyware! https://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/expired-offer -- check it out
  21. I've had much spyware and adware on my system in the past and recently, it sucked up RAM like a vacuum!! If you need to clean up spyware, I know an effective spyware remover, I highly suggest Webroot's SpySweeper. It worked for me! Get it here! https://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/expired-offer
