  1. Hello Members, I have got to audit all of our security groups and find what folders they have access to without having to look at every folder to see what permissions are on them, are there any scripts or free software out there to do this, I have had a look at dump-sec and that is it. Thanks in advance Carlow Olson Active Directory Maintenance

  5. Hello Members, You should try out Voodoopad. it is a great program that will let will not slow you down. Its got tabbed wiki-style notes to make each class one big file. It is always fast and you can record audio and much more! It also has a great feature that will auto save everything, so if you are running out of class fast, you do not have to worry about losing your precious notes. =DD I hope this helps, try it out! =D and if you need a fully functional MS-word type program, open office.org. Does EVERYTHING that ms-word does, except it is for frizzle. =D Thanks and Regards Carlow Olson Regular Expressions Tool

  7. Hello Friends, The Python programming language uses regular expressions for pattern matching. Programmers often use regular expressions to search text for patterns of letters, symbols and numbers. The power of regular expressions comes from the fact that they aren't used to search for something specific, like the word 'dog'; instead, they search for words that match a certain pattern, such as email domain names. But I don't know how to replace Regex on phyton if anybody having any suggestion please share with me. Thanks and Regards Carlow Olson
  8. Hello Friends, Regular expressions use special characters, or meta characters, to describe possible combinations of text in strings. I know that much only. I don't know how to use regular expression to block website. If anyone having any knowledge regarding this topic, please share with me. I am waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance Carlow Olson
  9. Hello Guys,My thought is that you want a decent scanner with OCR software. I believe those do a pretty good job of that. Actually, now that I think about it, you probably want the Evernote program. It's a super cool clipping software that organizes notes, pics, and whatever from the web or any other programs. What's cool for you is that there is built-in text recognition for any image you put in. But I haven't played with it too much - it might just be a feature that lets you search the text from images. Worth checking out though.Thank YouCarlow Olson
  10. Hello Friends, In programming, a regular expression is an expression that explains a pattern for a string. A string matches a regular expression if that string follows the pattern of that regular expression. For example, you may want to create an account system, allowing username to only have uppercase and lowercase letters, and numbers. While a user is registering, you can check their desired username against a regular expression involving only alphanumeric characters. If it matches, then the username is valid to your requests. If it does not, the user has put in a character that does not follow the pattern of the regular expression. In regular expressions, you can match certain characters, match a certain quantity of characters, match the casing of characters, and plenty more. The syntax of a regular expression varies throughout every programming language, but Perl is often used due to its wide variety of options. Perl is also incorporated into many web languages, such as PHP, making regular expressions less of a hassle. This is an example of a Perl regular expression, allowing a string with only alphanumeric characters, and an infinite length. Thanks and Regards Carlow Olson
