  1. I used to have a domain called kelp.uni.cc, but I was going to change it to my clan name so I deleted it, it was then that I figured that uni.cc didn't have dns support. Now, I can't log into my ftp, goto cpanel, or access anything. Can someone change my domain name to kelp.trap17.com? or is there anyway to access my ftp or cpanel without a domain?

  2. i think it only does it for .tk because it masks the url. if you look inthe address bar, it always says the same thing if you click on a link on their page. Like if the website's googoobears.tk and you click on how to make googoobears, the url would still be googoobears.tk. but in uni.cc, if you use dns, googoobears.uni.cc would change to googoobears.uni.cc/makebears.html

  3. To speed up the process before windows starts, like the black screens and junk, you should download tunexp and ms bootvis. I haven't used bootvis first, but i'm going to this weekend after I defrag. Tunexp has reduced the time Windows loads at the start(the windows xp logo with the bars). it only goes by twice, which used to be like five times before I used that tunexp boot tweak.

  4. I'm about to format soon and I've heard of ways to organize/speed up Windows XP with partitions. I heard you can put the pagefile on a different partiton(maybe 2 gigs?) and one partition for XP(maybe 4 gigs?) and the rest of the space for games/program files. Does anyone recommend this? I'm not sure if I want to do this. Can anyone verify if this speeds up XP or if there are any complications?

  5. PC, no doubt. When I switched to Linux, it was so boring since all I could do was surf the web and check my e-mail. Linux had no games to play except these little mini games like bejeweled. I'm sure with the mac, it's the same way. The mac has little games to go around. It's mostly for design and video production.

  6. The best solution is to switch to a more secure browser which cannot be hijacked as easily as IE. With firefox, I haven't ran adaware, spybot, avg in the time since I began to use it. Firefox also blocks the majority of popups and has features such as extensions and tabs.If you still want to stay with IE, get the google toolbar and don't forget to get SP2.

  7. I have a link back to Xisto so if I forget to post my site will not be deleted, here's that e-mail:
If you cannot stay active then please PUT our Ads on your MAIN Page of
your site, so that we will not delete it. We are doing this so as to ensure
this service remains alive and does not shut down like other hosting providers.

Here is the link to the .gif I use: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

  8. Hey there, I threw out some css code and came up with this:kelp.uni.ccThere's some incompatibilities, though. With IE it displays fine and in Firefox it's different. Open one window in FF and one in IE. The menu on the left in IE is what I want, but in Firefox it looks larger. Does anybody know the answer to this problem?
